Powerful charging ability
This charger replaced my three bank 30 amp charger. It can send all 60 amps to the house battery. That’s an awesome feature. I never needed to run the generator on my boat just to charge the main battery bank. I just ran the generator to run the stove for cooking. By the time I was done cooking the battery was charged. This charger totally changed how I boat. A real game changer. It was easy to install. Be sure to check your boat’s existing charger circuit breakers. Mine were to small and I had to bypass them. With the 70 inline fuses it works great.

This is better than sliced bread
Just buy it. Replace your battery charger. Don’t think about it. Don’t ask questions. Just do it. This thing is reliable, pretty to look at, and just is a work horse.Any other battery charger less is civilized.

Easy to install, and it just handles all your batteries
Installation took 45 minutes. Luckily, this charger was approximately the same size as my old one, so I didn't really have to reroute wires, or make them longer, etc. Once I had this hooked up, I threw the breaker, and it went through a cycle of conditioning my batteries (I have 2 per side, in parallel) and I've had zero issues. The unit comes with a temperature sensor cable; I hooked that to the batteries that run the big stuff - fridge, windlass, etc. All in all, a great unit.

Worth the price, easy to install
Batteries on our boat were a constant problem until I installed this charger. Well worth the price, easy to install and don't forget the remote monitoring system. Never have to look in the engine room again, wonderful!

Not Recommended for Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries
My review only concerns using ProMariner ProNauticP chargers with Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries.ProMariner does not recommend using their ProNauticP chargers with Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. I learned this the hard way after buying and installing a ProMariner 1260-P battery charger for my eight new BattleBorn 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries based on a blog post on the Battleborn Battery web site that recommended using this family of chargers.I first heard this advice when talking with Steven in the ProMariner technical support group when contacting him by phone on 12/26/2019. While attempting to answer my question about the best battery charger settings to use with my Battleborn Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, he talked with the battery charger engineering team at ProMariner. The engineering team told Steven that they do not recommend using ProMariner chargers with Lithium batteries. Steven then conveyed this advice to me.I contacted ProMariner technical support again by email on 1/14/2020 in the desperate hope that the "Custom" battery charger setting on the ProMariner 1260-P battery charger might be made to work with my BattleBorn LiFePO4 batteries. Bruce from the technical support team replied to my email on 01/15/2020 saying:"Sorry, forgot to let you know we do not recommend any of our chargers for Lithium batteries due to the large number of manufacturers and the cost of batteries. The levels of quality and conformity make it impossible to actually test our chargers against all the different batteries. We do recommend following your specific manufacturers suggested charging solutions."I recommend finding a battery charger that is specifically designed to work well with LiFePO4 batteries. For example. make sure that the battery charger has flexible charge settings that precisely match those of your batteries. Avoid chargers, like the ProNauticP, because its "Custom" charge setting does not provide sufficient control over the charge settings. For example, the ProNauticP charger goes into “Auto Maintain” mode once the batteries are fully charged. It remains in this mode while the battery voltage remains within a specific upper and lower voltage range. It will not attempt to charge the batteries again until the battery voltage drops below the bottom of the voltage range. The problem is that the ProNauticP "Custom" setting only lets you specify the upper voltage of the range and not the lower voltage of the range. This has the unfortunate effect of potentially leaving your batteries chronically under charged. In my case, the ProNauticP will only start charging the batteries again when they fall below a 30% state of charge. In short, find another charger if you want it to work well with your Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries.

Good technical support
Failed after 2 years but it is just the output side fuse. Technical support couldn’t be reached by phone but email response was quick, competent and helpful. Carry spare fuses ATC 40A for the 1260p, smaller for the smaller units.
