The Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80 40MM looks fantastic on the wrist, but the performance is disappointing. Despite being fully wound and worn consecutively for two days, the power reserve consistently fails to hold. It often stops within hours of being set aside, which is unacceptable for a watch at this price point. The advertised 80-hour reserve seems unrealistic and points to a possible manufacturing flaw. For those expecting a reliable automatic, this one doesn’t deliver. It makes me question the brand as a whole.
