Can you fit an A4 arch lever file in it?

Unfortunately not. The width is ok but an A4 ring binder sticks out at the top so the zip cannot close.

Hi I’m a size 8/10 and my bag is on the shortest length I haven’t altered since I had it, there is ample strap left to make it bigger, I wear mine over winter coat I think it will be fine for you. The thick part of the strap is approx 14inches and the thinner part of the strap that you can extend is approx the same again. Hope this helps.
