Very good explanations and descriptions, allowing us to identify different fish. Very nice pictures too!

This is a great book for identifying fish in the Caribbean. The photos are good, the descriptions very comprehensive, even to covering how fish change their appearance with age or location. The other great bonus is describing the behavior of the fish - if it says they are curious - they are.

Used this book as a work reference for nearly 2 years in location and can not fault it!! Brilliant book to build your id. skills and to have as a reference. It also keeps getting better with each edition.

Just perfect for any scuba diver, snorkeler or marine biologist. Totally engrossing finding the different fish that you've seen. The pictures are clear and it shows colour changes depending on if the fish is a juvenile or not.

In a class of its own, with excellent photographs of a huge range of species. A book like this adds a whole new dimension to a Caribbean holiday. Snorkellers should be aware that the frequency of sightings of many species will be very different from that reported by scuba divers.

Very detailed and great educational tool

A really useful guide only somewhat marred by it being published as a ring-bound document where pages do tend to come loose in field use, but this only reflects badly on the publisher ,not the author who has done a great job.
