Warm & Comfy! Worked in my Non-Lumos Helmet!
I like to ride in the fall and winter anytime the roads are clear, it's sunny out and the temps aren't in the low twenties or below. Riding in cold temps is more challenging as I need to protect exposed areas including my head and ears. That's why this Lumos winter helmet liner got my attention.I don't own a Lumos helmet so the question for me was, will it fit other brand helmets? I placed it into my helmet, threaded the straps and found I needed to extend the head band and straps to make it larger. With a few adjustments, I found it fit fine! I particularly liked the padded ear pieces as they fit over my ears without impairing my hearing. Most importantly, it did a great job of keeping my head and ears warm and comfortable while riding! Quality of construction is excellent and I can easily recommend this cap. I'm not saying it will fit most cycling helmets, but for me it worked well!

Repositionable ear cups work great with helmet
The repositionable ear cups are a bit strange. But they fit great under the helmet. I'm using them for bicycling in the cold weather. And there is no wind that gets through -- my ears stay warm. While designed specifically for the Lumos bike helmet, I'd recommend this liner for almost any sport activity where the helmet is secured with straps under the chin. However, while the ear cups are soft on the skin, they do not compress well and probably would cause discomfort under a otw well-fitting motorcycle helmetAt the time of this review, only two sizes are available: M/L & XL. The M/L is a bit loose -- my head circumference is 21 3/4". However, the helmet holds the liner and ear cups in place.Bottom line: at $25, this liner is many times better at keeping the wind from your ears than the usual thinner skull cap fleece-lined helmet liners.

Just enough warmth
I got this for my early/late riding in the winter months. I took a gamble getting this since i dont have a lumos helmet yet, in which this was designed for. I got this for my "Other" commuter helmet. The fit is a little bit on the larger side. My head size is between medium and large, and thought this would be great when i got the med/lar size. Still, i feel that this is more on the Large side. Otherwise, just enough room so it doesnt flatten down my hair. It provides enough air cooling and yet still keep my head warm, the removable ear muff is great to block out the wind from chilling my ears. Material and build quality is top notch. I cant wait to get a lumos helmet to match this with. Highly recommended.

Perfect Winter Companion for Cyclists!
The Lumos Winter Liner Cycling Skull Cap is an absolute must-have for winter cycling! It fits perfectly under my kid's helmet, providing excellent warmth and comfort during chilly rides. The material is soft, lightweight, and doesn’t feel bulky, making it ideal for long-distance rides. What truly sets this liner apart is its water-resistant feature. I’ve ridden through light rain and mist, and it kept my head dry and cozy. The design also does a great job covering the ears, protecting them from cold winds. This is the perfect combination of functionality and comfort for winter cyclists. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay warm and enjoy their rides, no matter the weather!

Great cold weather gear for Lumos helmet. XL fits my Huge head
I can't find my Lumos Ultra helmet so will just cover the liner itself. To start, my skull is huge at 24" / 63cm and I have difficulty finding head things in my size. This new Lumos cold weather liner fits me without having to stretch! The fabric has a few textures, the most soft being on the skin side and most sleek on the outside. All in dark shades of black. It covers a lot of my head and is deep enough, another issue I often face. Inside each ear flap is a Velcro-attached C-shaped earpad in black soft fabric. It provides a deep well for each ear and covers them well.Looking at the liner without my helmet and examining how it will mount inside, it seems a sensible system. Recommended!
