Maxpedition Gear Cocoon Pouch

Like most of the products from Maxpedition this is a very well made product. Sturdy, heavy nylon. YKK zippers.Main compartment: 8"(L) x 2" diameter1000-Denier water and abrasion resistant light-weight ballistic nylon fabric. Teflon fabric protector for grime resistance and easy maintenanceI currently use this to hold coffee sachets and granola bars (in my backpack) for when I am out and about, I can only drink decaf and not a lot of places serve it, so this pouch is a godsend for me.

i got this maxpedition cocoon pouch today from italy,it took a while to come but i knew that before i ordered it so im not complaining,this is a tough pouch,its about the same size of a pencil case,which is what it reminds me of.a very tough pencil case,im using mine as a 1st aid kit,the quality is what youd expect from maxpedition..exellente,im very happy with the case,nice strong zip and good tough material,well made{iv examined it closley}i reccomend this pouch.

5 stars for build quality and attach-ability. Don't expect 101 pockets inside. It's like a pea pod for your gear. I use mine for storing my fire making kit and it does the job. Use 3 inch tac ties not 5inch.

It is a lot smaller than you may imagine so I would check sizes before you order. I am using mine for a couple of Israel bandages so it's not an issue for me. It arrived with a broken clip and while I know Maxpedition would sort it out I don't use that clip so I can't be bothered to send it back, but the broken clip and the necessity of the purchase of tacties means four stars. Stitching is top notch and material is also very good.

Although they look like a odd shape they are surprisingly roomy inside and can hold quite a lot of things especially if they are are soft. They are easy to store - their shape makes them easier to fit into small spaces etc.

Maxpedition make quality products. This is great and like most of there products looks like new for ages.

The pouch is large enough to store a large amount of tools, and pencils, although could really be used to store anything long and narrow. The case itself is of incredibly high quality, and is unlikely to fray or become damaged over time.It can be carried in a variety of ways, with molle attachment points found on the back of the case meaning it can easily be held on a molle compatible pack. Due to the Ballistic Nylon construction it is easily cleaned with warm water and a towel, meaning that storing it externally can be done with little fear of it becoming dirty.Overall the pouch is ideal for stalling a variety of goods, with the knowledge that they will be protected from the elements.

This is the best size pouch I have found so far, 8" in length seems to be the perfect size to fit everything I need. Despite the small size, I can fit the following tools listed below. There is a very specific way it needs to be packed, and it's still a very tight fit, but it does close without bulging out or stressing the zipper. My car is a 09 Acura TSX 6MT, and this is essentially everything I would need for very basic maintenance like swapping the battery or even removing the bumper or headlight assemblies if I needed to. Great little tool pouch, would be even better if it was slightly wider/rounder but in terms of length it's perfect.
