Q: How much weight does this item support?

I'm not sure with weight capacity but IMO, I wouldn't let someone 200lbs or more it in because I want my chair to last

I am somewhere north of 275 and it holds me fine. I have mine in my NOBO camper trailer and it is great for that. If you are going to sleep on it regularly, I suggest getting some sort of padding because there is a cross member that is right around my soft ribs. I ordered an inexpensive, self-inflating camping mattress that is the same dimensions as this unfolded chair. It is 3 inches thick and perfect.

Yes. If the back to the chair is not all the way up.
