These in-ceiling speakers are pretty good I think. The sound quality is definitely up there compared your run of the mill in-ceiling speaker, which doesn't exist since they aren't that common. Hooking up the speakers is as you would expect with just a couple of pairs of wires ran to your receiver or what-have-you. Very easy set up, not that bad really. The speakers sound a lot better than I expected and I'm happy with my order. I would order them again so I can have more speakers in more places. For the price, the size, and the sound quality, I'd certainly recommend them. You don't even have to put them in your ceiling if you don't want to!

Easy to install and sounds good for it’s price point.

Sounds great, we are using it indoors and mostly play music over them. The install was super simple mounting in the Ceiling. The cover for the speaker looks super good and is fairly unnoticeable, it blends in seamlessly

These are pretty good mid range speakers. I am actually going to build this into a guitar amplifier/speaker cabinet, and I’m not using them for ceiling speakers. I tested each speaker with a 100W mono am, and a 30w guitar amp, and it’s easy to hear that these really emphasize the mids. If you don’t specifically EQ up the bass on music content, then the bass is a bit weak. The built in tweeter sounds good. There is no frequency response chart included for these, but the range is listed as 57Hz to 20kHz. However, the bass definitely sounds weak. It’s not a problem if you’re installing this into a system with a separate subwoofer though.With my guitar amp plugged into it, it generally sounded really good. However, I did notice a distinct resonance at 784 Hz (the high g, 1st string 15th fret). That note is quite a bit louder than any other note, so this speaker must have quite a frequency peak right around 784Hz. This is why I wish all speaker manufacturers would include accurate frequency response curves. The magnet on the back is not has hefty as I’d like, but that’s due to its lower power rating of only 30W RMS. Still, it’s a really great speaker.If you’re using the included white magnetic cover, you should know that cover really sticks on well. I had a hard time getting it off with my fingers and had to pry it a bit with a small screwdriver. There is zero chance it will ever fall off accidentally. Overall, this set is 5 stars.

These are great background music in-ceiling speakers in my opinion! They were relatively simple for me to install since I was replacing pre-existing in-ceiling speakers and just needed to make the hole in the drywall a bit larger to accommodate the footprint of these. They are well made and look great with the grill installed. The sound quality is good for this price point, and I like that the tweeter can pivot to aim the sound towards the listening area. Overall, I am pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it with the top five star rating for sure!
