I read the reviews and was skeptical about the lettering lasting, but tried it anyway because it was too cute. It is not like others said. It is nicely embroidered on the blanket. The color contrast I choose was simply perfect! The blanket in super soft and snuggly. It is not a super heavy blanket, but isn't feather light. It is the perfect in-between. It is perfect for pictures, or snuggling up with, as a keepsake, or a lovey. I can't wait to use this for our new son! Our daughters love it so much they want one too! This blanket is not quiet as big or thick as I thought it would be, but it is absolutely perfect! It is beautiful, it is soft, it’s the perfect weight for any weather, and the quality is fabulous. I can’t wait to wrap my little grandson in it. I already know it will be THE blanket (the one for almost every ocasion, the one he wants when he is sick, the one he uses until he wears it out). I needed a good quality blanket for my two-year old to have at nap time at daycare each day. A year later, this one is still going strong. Monogramming is a plus, because it never gets lost among the other children. A few strings have come loose around his name, but that's no big deal. This is definitely a high quality blanket. I will definitely buy another one....if I ever have to that is.
