Olsa 100mm Bocce Balls Set

Great game! Carry bag is a little lightweight, but sufficient. Fun for the family and friends!

These are everything I wanted out of a Bocce Ball set. They've got four distinct colors and each of the colored sets have either a straight or circular pattern on them to make them distinct. It also came with a small measuring tape which I didn't even realize was included when I bought them, so pleasant surprise. They seemed very sturdy and had some satisfying weight to them. They did get a bit scuffed up after a bit of use, but that's to be expected. Reasonable price too.

I was planning a large outdoor event with multiple yard games and decided Bocce would be great fun. I searched extensively on multiple vendor sites, and this looked interesting. I looked at a variety of brands, prices and accessories. I finally decided that the Olsa Full-Sized Bocce Ball set was the best value - and I could not have been more correct! Great set of regulation balls and a nice carrying case. My only very slight complaint is that the case has no structural support, so it kind of just sags around the balls. I resolved that by putting the delivery box into the case. Works fine. Altogether, it is better than most expensive sets out there in the market. I would recommend this product.

These bocci game is fun! Gets very competitive when playing with the family. Good outside activity for the kids, and grown ups.

Update to my previous review: I reduced to 3 stars since I'm returning the set. I rolled one of the green balls in the grass and it showed signs off scratching just from the grass through the thin color on the outside. Not sure they would last very long on the beach or a court. Looks like a nice set. We bought to use at the beach and back yard. First time Boccie Ball players. For some reason we received a Yellow pallinio. The description clearly says it's white as are all other brands. Not sure if it's an issue or not, but who uses a yellow one? Hopefully the product quality is better then the quality control.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS/CONTENTS: Package contained eight Bocce balls, one Pallino, one measuring tape, a sheet of paper explaining the basic rules and a storage/carrying case. As kits go, this is essentially an all in one! Good for both seasoned players and entry level alike, supporting two to eight players. This kit contains everything you'll need to get started and enjoy a game of Bocce ball. Balls are brightly coloured, with the outer layer made from resin, and are official Bocce Standards Association size (4.2"/107mm). While I don't have a scale handy, they appear to meet weight specifications. Of course, the Pallino is also of proper size. Included with the kit is a storage bag that makes both carrying and storage a snap, and a retractable measuring tape to help with scoring. The only mark against this set from what I could see is with the storage bag; while convenient, it is cheaply made and requires a cardboard box to keep its shape (see pictures). The enclosed rule sheet is basic at best, and doesn't explain scoring, but that's nothing 30 seconds on the internet can't explain. Over all, this is a decent kit, and much better than the smaller 90mm Bocce kits available. Given I picked this up for the actual game components, and not the bag, I won't factor it into my overall score, hence five stars. I can't wait for decent weather to break this kit in. PROS: + Balls are Bocce Standards Association/International Standard size. + Bright colours. + Includes retractable measuring tape. + Includes carrying bag. CONS: - Carrying bag is cheaply made and requires cardboard box to hold its shape. - Incomplete rules/instructions. TL;DR The Olsa Bocce ball kit is a decent package that contains everything seasoned and beginning players require and the balls also meet Bocce Association/International standards. Official court size aside, you really don't need a lot of room to enjoy this game. As always, I hope you found this review helpful in some small way.

Pros - Balls are brightly coloured - 4 different colours x2 - Made from solid resin - Balls are official bocce standards association size (4.2"/107mm) and weight - Allows for 2-8 players - Easy to transport with carrying case Cons - Carrying case may not last Bocce is one of my favourite summer lawn games to play. It brings back fond memories of my childhood with my grandparents. This is a very nice set, as it is durable, easy to use and comparable to my grandfathers set. The brightly coloured balls make them easy to see and distinguish colours from far away. I like that this set allows for 2-8 people to play together. All of the balls (including the pallino) are of official bocce standard weight and size. It even comes with a measuring tape! (No cheating there). This set is easy to transport to the backyard, park, friends house or even the beach! The only problem I foresee in the future is with the carrying case. The cardboard insert needs to stay in, or else the bag will lose its shape. Overall, this is a great gift for family and friends who love the outdoors or who love hosting backyard parties. I can't wait for summer!

My family loves outdoor games. We have been successful in keeping our kids and family active in outdoor and away from TV and Tablets with games such as Ladder ball, Badminton, Giant Jenga, Bocce, Croquet, Horse Shoe and Bean Toss. We love to play in our backyard or carry around in parks, picnics or at parties. These games has been big hit to keep family, friends and kids all engaged together. Osla Bocce is high quality Bocce set taht can be used in real games as for the recreational purposes. The included bag is also high quality. Overall, we loved this Bocce set. Highly Recommended!

Just saw people playing this game in the park near my house a few weeks ago while riding my bicycle and it reminded me of the good times I had ages ago playing this game, so I decided to order this set, now that I have lot of free time. It will be good for me to have some outdoor activities since the park is so close. Brand new, arrived in good condition with a carrying bag. Good size and weight just as I remembered them. Very happy with the quality and price of this product although it's too cold to play this game now, it will be perfect in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Reasonable price @94.99 including $15 coupon.

Review: This is a great, high quality set of Bocce balls. Unfortunately the carrying case/bag it comes with is extremely low quality and due to the weight of the balls, it has already failed on me. The zipper has ripped completely off and I've thrown the bag in the garbage. I now keep the balls in a small tote. If you're going to buy this set, be aware that you will almost certainly have to buy something else to keep them in. For the price of this set, what I have described above is disappointing.
