Nice switch!!!
I recently set up the 8 Ports Ethernet Switch with 8 2.5G RJ45 Ports and 1 10G SFP Port, and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed. The installation was straightforward, and I appreciated the clear labeling on the ports, which made it easy to connect everything without any confusion. My home network is much more robust now. The 2.5G speeds have noticeably improved my internet experience, especially when streaming and gaming. I previously had issues with lag, but since using this switch, everything runs smoothly, even with multiple devices connected. The SFP port is a nice touch for future upgrades if I ever need faster connectivity options. Build quality feels solid, and it runs quietly, which is a plus for me since my setup is in a shared space. Overall, I think this switch offers great performance for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home or small office network. It’s an easy way to enhance your network without breaking the bank!

Super swift outa the box!
This well built, high quality, metal box, switch was easy to install and every time i do a speed test, every computer connected has a 2.49G through-put to my 5G router. My internet has never been so fast! Also transfers from computer to computer are unbelievable, too! It has been in operation for over three months and have no down issues to report. Although, not very familiar with the Brand, if needed I would buy another one without hesitation.

It works immediately after plugged in the CAT5 cable and no need for set up!
I haven't seen any improvement from my old switch.

These work like a charm and they are great for the price. No issues after 3 months of uptime.
I bought this because I was upgrading my home network from 1G to 2.5G. The switches don't affect performance (not noticeable to me) and have been up and running for 3 months without issues.

Good Job Goalake. Surpisingly impressed on the first try.
I bought this 11 months ago (12/29/24) and have not had 1 issue. I do keep a usb silent fan underneath to help cool just in case. Electronics love the cool. I a using all the ports and not one has locked up or died on me. I have not tested the full bandwidth as I only have 2 systems with NICs to push 2.5gb or higher. Once I upgrade I'll be able to test that more. I just wanted to wait for the review to make sure it worked good. I plugged it in the day i got it.

Works absolutely perfectly, and a great value.
I have this hooked up in my office so I can transfer between my 2024 MacBook Pro (2.5Gbit via Caldigit TS4 Plus, 2022 Mac mini (with 2.5Gbit USB adapter), and my PC (MSI X870E Carbon with 2.5Gbit port). This was as easy as it gets to set up. Plug in to wall, plug devices into switch - done. That's all there is to it. Speed is in line with what you'd expect for 2.5Gbit with file transfers, and no issue using other non-2.5Gbit devices at gigabit speed on it. Excellent! Only minor quibble is it would be nice to see LEDs on the front to determine connection speed, but this is a minor complaint. 5 out of 5. As good as it gets.

Full 2.5Gbps at an Affordable Price
Built like a tank, with a fully metal casing and solid, substantial feel. I get the full 2.5Gbps (2.45Gbps real-world). For my use as a dumb switch with no VLAN turned on and connected to my 2.5Gbps router, set-up was very easy and it works perfectly. It's cool to the touch even though it's silently fanless. Only one, tiny niggle: the docs have the port status lights reversed. Green (link) is on the right, and yellow (2.5Gbps) is on the left of each RJ-45. The product listing indicates that this item is frequently returned, but I'm guessing many buyers don't really understand its purpose.

Great price for 2.5 gig
Allowed me to take full advantage of my gigabit speed. I'm getting 2.1 GB now.

I've got this set up with 2 x Annke C500 5mp POE IP cameras running through it and it just works. Its been up and running for a few months and no dropped frames, no reboots, no dramas. I'll be adding a third camera to is shortly. Lots of power for POE devices, no problems there. Yes I'd prefer 1000mbps on each POE port but a 4K camera uses less than 10mbps so it's not really a problem. Not tried the SFP port yet so can't rate that. I was reluctant to buy this, never heard of Goalake but I'm glad I did. Its cheap but not cheaply built and does just work which is all I need. I think I will be going for the 18 port rack mount switch as I lay the permanent cables for the CCTV and the access points.

Does what it says on the tin. SFP port not tested. Poe works fine with 6 CCTV IP cameras. 100mbs is more than enough on 40m cat6 cable for 4K 8mp camera. No interference from power supply.

I have a couple of these and am using them in a CCTV system. Really like the gigabit twin uplinks enabling the creation of a gigabit backbone Well build and great value

This switch has eight POE ports and two LAN ports. I connected two NVR's and an analogue encoder to the switch and could instantly see all CCTV cameras connected to the switch on one screen. I connected the switch to a router, downloaded an app on my mobile and 'bingo', could see all cameras on my mobile phone. Can even control the PTZ cameras from my mobile phone when I'm over 200 miles away. Very pleased with the switch.
