A little less than basic
I was hoping for a little more out of these gates, especially from a company like Wellputt. At first glance these seem great, but as you functionally use them it starts to get a little annoying. They are solid metal, feeling like stamped steel for the gate and anodized aluminum for the feet. My problem is, using them indoors forces you to pick up all three pieces of one gate, as the aluminum feet do not connect to the upper arm. They are removable so you can stake them into a green at a practice area, I get that. With minimal engineering these feet could have had a small snap ball bearing that would allow the gate arm to snap into the base feet. Or maybe keep all the metal similar and create a magnetic base. It gets old quickly trying to pick these up and move them around as the feet are not able to be connected more sufficiently.I feel like this should have been looked at during early demo's and with a little more manufacturing, could have been a better product all around. These certainly fall short and are too basic.
