I think I may have purchased the wrong size. But I found it difficult to do the corners of my piano bench. I'll just have to breakdown and recover the whole seat. This would work really well for a small to medium tear on a flat surface. This just didn't work for what I needed it to do. It wasn't the product's fault The color was spot on and the sticky part was excellent.

I got this to repair two splits in a vinyl tractor seat. It's not pretty but it's holding up really well. So far it has seen 95 degree weather, 24 degree weather, direct sun day after day, and continuous rain for several days, and it's still sticking. I also bought a tube of vinyl cement, expecting to have to eventually repair the tape, and so far I haven't even opened the package. Impressive.

My son bought a used car. Had a small tear or split in the driver's seat,from previous owner getting in and out.I found this tape ,cut a piece to cover tear and applied it to the seat. Great adhesion! After 16 months It is holding up better than I expected. The edges and corners of the tape are not peeling up as you would expect,and it is in a high use area. I would recommend!
