I purchased the Aeroband having not touched a guitar in 50 years. Really enjoying it. Pretty easy on the fingers. I like the selection of different voices: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, bass… Plus, it’s always in tune. I would recommend.

I used to play guitar. A lot of guitar. Even though we have a house full of recorders, dulcimers, autoharps, flutes... Still, when I wanted to relax, I always grabbed one of the guitars. As I got older, it got harder and harder to play Rheumatism was taking my hands away, and I no longer had the strength to push down on the strings. Then one day I put the guitars away for good.I was reconciled to never being able to play again, until I saw a video for the Aero band guitar on YouTube. I watched more, and weighed the pros and cons. About three days ago I took the plunge and ordered the guitar. I have been playing for an hour to two hours a day ever since it got here, and there is no pain in my wrists or fingers! It took a couple of hours to stop trying to press down on the strings (old habits die hard), but it is getting better.I was going to wait a couple of weeks before writing this, but I decided not to wait. This was the best decision I have made in a long time.Review stuff. The build is good and solid, and nothing about the guitar feels cheap, or flimsy. It looks good as well. I have read reviews trashing the sound quality, but I am not hearing it. Perhaps some reviewers are comparing the sound quality to a high-priced DAW, but I'm not doing that. I am happy with the sound.The only issue I have come up against is getting my DAW to recognize the guitar, but that's just a matter of going through the process of installing it manually.All told, I am very happy with the guitar, especially since it allows me to play again.

Very interesting, but knacky. The string sensitivity doesn't seem to have much of an effect when adjusted in the app. You need to be very careful when finger-picking, as a slight touch on another string will be very loud as compared to a real guitar. It has potential as a midi controller.

As soon as I started playing I noticed that the strings sound somewhat muffled (short sustain). The sound is similar to what I had with my Ibanez AX-120 electric guitar when new. The fix fir that was a new nut, a fix that obviously does not apply here. I can also hear a sound similar to fret buzz, mainly from the low strings. It's not loud but it is audible. This is the case regardless of the instrument (sound) I select.Interesting that the sample sound I hear when I change instruments or when I turn the guitar ON/OFF is brighter, with longer sustain.I am not touching the mute bar. I can hear the difference when I touch the mute bar.Preparing the guitar for a return.

OK, upgrading my review after about a week. It would be my advice to give it a chance it takes a little while to get used to it. The company has excellent customer service and our making improvements every day. It does exactly what I needed. If you use it with the microphone and headset, it can become a personal karaoke for practice and that the guitar is also a Bluetooth speaker with a built-in microphone mix perfect for practicing without disturbing others not just a guitar.

I played this for about 2-4 hours on and off i would say I am a beginner with some intermediate skills. It just does not sound right going from a normal acoustic guitar. The E string is really overpowering the others when playing basic chords, it's very strange. It's also sloppy when you change chords quickly you can hear that its struggles to process the sound. The app is really poor, i would expect for the price this guitar is at that the smart aspects are much better.If you have issues with your hands it does feel much easier to play so i can understand why people enjoy that aspect but overall i would either wait for the next version of this or keep it real and keep practicing.

This is now my favorite smart guitar (and midi guitar controller) and includes an excellent App as well.- This newer version and updated app works perfectly (beats all the others that I tried).- Great for buskin (with a Mic input) and great for small gigs too (you can still add effects pedals to the output)- The built-in Mic input with Vol control is perfect addition (as it mixes to output to an Amp or FOH system)- No more need for tuning and love the Capo button, and battery life is excellent (10+ hrs)Wishes:- I wish you could palm the strings themselves vs using the mute button- I wish when turning off the fret LEDS that you could still see the capo position LED to know where it is- I hope they add an App option to 'bend the note' by rolling your finger over or maybe be adding a bluetooth whammy bar attachment?I tried several others (Lava, and others) but this one is the best I've tried!

This instrument is amazing I have arthritis and can't play my conventional guitars any longer until I bought this one and I'm playing again . I'm 67 years old and played in bands for 30 years until arthritis took over and I had to stop . Then I saw this instrument on Amazon had my doubts went to YouTube saw mext reviews but I took a chance and bought one and it's amazing I'm playing again the feel of this thing is really close to an actual guitar you have to get the app but very easy to install you never have to tune it it's ready to go out of the box just make sure it's in standard tune there's many to choose from . There's videos on here that sounds out of tune because they don't have it in standard tune it comes in standard on start up . I bought this being sceptecal but it's amazing no finger pain at all if you're not playing because of arthritis or other problems try this you won't regret it you don't need an Amp it's built in and the sound is awesome no feed back good bass and high notes . It's as close to a real guitar as you can .
