Incredible monitor for cost
Wow, blew my socks off!Managed to get this on Amazon renew for around £350. What a bargain that was!Incredible colours, incredible dark blacks, excellent quality and sharpness for the price. I upgraded from a BenQ Mobius 27” curved. While it’s a great monitor with fantastic speakers, I’d out grown it as I use my monitor for both work (MacBook) and high intensity games like CoD.I opted for the 32” IPA screen with adjustable stand. The IPA is much better for me, functions as a tv when I need it too as well. The input lag being so small on this monitor is definitely noticeable for me and is a vast improvement, no more issues with opps being able to shoot me before I even lift my gun lol.If you can pick this item up on Amazon Renew then it’s absolutely worth it, easy to set up, and just plug speakers in through the headphone jack. To clarify the model I got does not come with speakers so you do have to drop maybe £70 extra on decent ones. I went with the Anker speaker as I have their lower end model and sounds great.

Solid gaming monitor
Stunning picture quality. Great value and has all the bells and whistles for a great gaming experience.Massive upgrade from my standard office style monitor. Videos are crisp and vibrant with a decent HDR picture. The on screen menus and buttons are a bit lame but do the job.Works great with 100x100 vesa mount

OUTSTANDING. 9/10. GREAT ON PC & PS5.
Absolutely outstanding monitor for the price. I went with the 27” FHD flat version. I was previously playing on a £700 Lenovo Legion Y27gq-25, which was a 2560x1440 display with a 240hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms response time. It was a beast, however, due to my aging PC hardware, I wanted to go back to 1920x1080 for the big performance boost.Of course, I was very skeptical about switching from my Lenovo to a relatively cheap 1920x1080p monitor. How could the picture quality even compare, I thought.Well, when testing this monitor on both my PC and PS5, not only did the picture quality exceed my expectations, it blew me away. How a 1920x1080 monitor can look this good is beyond me. If you are like me and don’t sit too close to the screen, then you honestly will not be able to tell the difference against a 2560x1440 display. You know what? I actually think it looks better than my Lenovo. It’s crisper, sharper and way more colourful. The colour on this monitor is absolutely stunning. I personally use the ‘FPS’ preset mode, as it looks amazing on all games. The display is dull and lifeless if you don’t use the FPS preset, in my opinion. Why only a 9/10 and not a 10/10, given my praise? Well, the stand. It’s bad. It allows you to tilt the screen upward, but not downwards. It also doesn’t allow you to tilt down to the left or down to the right. My monitor looks very lopsided to the left, so I have to prop up the opposite side with a paper wedge to even it out which is not ideal. Perhaps my table is wonky, but either way, very annoying that they missed out such a basic feature. It’s also rather wobbly, doesn’t feel overly solid despite being fixed in place.I purchased a monitor arm to solve this issue, however, I did not realise that AOC monitors do not support regular VESA mounts like the other 99% of monitor on the market do. It will work, but you can only use two screws, as the bottom two screws won’t line up. You’ll need to find an arm compatible with AOC.Lastly, the audio sucks. Very weak and tinny but, I won’t mark it down for that as 99% of people will be using headphones and/or external speakers.Overall, a fantastic monitor for the price point. I am glad with my choice and have no regrets. Shame about the stand and lack of compatibly with most monitor arms but, once I find an AOC compatible arm, it really will be faultless.

Amazing monitor with excellent HDR capabilities
Very happy with this monitor. HDR looks very good indeed and the screen is able to get very bright making HDR content really pop. As it’s a VA panel the blanks are inky blank too compared to the washed out blacks you’ll see on an LCD panel. Monitors far more expensive than this don’t have HDR or have a poor HDR implementation, so if you’re looking for a great value good performer that renders HDR content incredibly well, you can’t really go wrong here. Reading reviews about VA panels online, I was worried about the smearing effect but honestly, if you need a high performance camera to try and spot it, for any normal human eyes, you’re not going to notice it. I certainly have had no issues gaming on this and the high refresh rate will keep the pixel peeping idiots that need absolute perfection fairly happy I’m sure. Can’t comment on the speakers as I use separate speakers for my PC but I’d assume they’re fairly mediocre like most built in monitor speakers. I use a £30 Creative speaker setup which is more than enough for my needs. Also, the OSD when setting it up at first is a bit slow and fiddly but once it’s setup you don’t need to touch it again, so no big dramas there. Overall, an amazing monitor and for a price that can’t really be beaten given the HDR capabilities, nice resolution and inky blacks from the VA panel. As I say, for any normal human eyes I think you’ll be very pleased. Other reviewers seem to agree here as well it seems.**UPDATE** This monitor does not have any built in speakers. As metioned in my review, not a problem as I use a set of external speakers, and built in speakers would probably sound pretty poor anyway, but thought I'd update my review to highlight their absence on this monitor. Still a great screen though, and everything I mention above still stands. Recommended.

Great VA monitor. Picture looks good once you set it up. Got help from youtube to do that. Nice colours for a VA panel
