Gerrit's Broadway Black Licorice Wheels, 2 lb bag in a BlackTie Box

I love certain foods, almost to distraction. Olives, potatoes, LICORICE. Wow, these little wheels of delight are so, so yummy. My mother-i-law, who is 93, asked for licorice in the wheels so she can unwind them and make them last. These have a firm and chewy texture and a wonderful licorice taste. She is happy and so am I. Love it!

Oh, man, this stuff is great. My husband and I buy the 2 lb x 3 package and just love it. When we open each 2 lb bag, I separate it into 4-5 ziploc baggies to keep them fresh. Works like a charm, but is probably ultimately not necessary since they don't last longer than a few days in each baggie before we've consumed them entirely.I've spoken with my husband and some friends I've shared these with. Personally, my favorite flavor is the yellow, but that seems to be the love-or-hate flavor. What I like best about these is that they are on the tangy side. I have a hard time with candy that gives a "sweet bomb" - it can be totally overwhelming. I like my candy on the tangier side. This fits the bill nicely.They're fun to braid, knot, twist, stretch - we can't get enough...

My all time favorite licorice!! Last batch I got was kind of hard but I still enjoyed it. My favorite is when it’s fresh and soft!

Best tasting black licorice. Individual pieces provides a generous amount and are smooth. We just savor the taste by letting them melt in our mouths. One is plenty to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Second time getting these and this seems to have been an old batch as these things really tried their best to pull out both fillings (my son) and crowns (me) and the flavor was average at best. They seemed very processed like they came out of a German tire factory circa 1990. We won’t be getting them again as there are many competitors with better tasting black licorice for basically the same price. Took a chance on the first order and they were good but this time around it was old and hard to chew...meh.

This is very good licorice. The box it came in was not too big or small. Just perfect. The licorice is fresh and tastes wonderful! I would buy from them again.

The ones I received were hard and dried out. I ended up getting rid of them.

I’ve been craving these ever since I got some from Hobby Lobby, but they only had the small jars…so naturally they went fast lol10/10 love these and will buy more!!
