Let's be real
So you heard about how much bass this speaker has and you want to get one.Well, all the positive reviews are true. No need to worry. Most people will purchase an expensive speaker from a familiar brand because they want something that performs better than your average speaker. And.. they will settle with that speaker even if it under-performs there expectations.. because of that brands reputation, popularity of the model or not having many options available to compare.Been there, done that for sure.So. From my research, I was expecting more than enough bass and a reasonably balanced sound. With all those app complications not being able to change the eq unless on Wi-Fi. Also only being able to use Spotify on Android while on WiFi. Apple IOS has many options for selecting apps on WiFi to use. But we all know Android is better hahaha (Z Fold 7 here)Missed opportunity on that Android part, because I like using YouTube Music. So instead, I'll just continue to use Bluetooth and that's fine. Forget WiFi. But I could still adjust the eq on WiFi if I wanted to, than go back to Bluetooth (but I don't think I will have to, at least for now)Anyway some say the highs were lacking and it does not have a flat frequency response (Its not flat for sure). Also some say it makes noise. (lol Just look at the website, It clearly explains the tech that's behind all this bass smh)With that being said........I've had this speaker less than a week now..... and when I tell you......... The bass. Bro. Mind blown, because of its size. Compared to bigger speakers?? Better than some bigger speakers! The quality of the sound balance and separation is great in my opinion. Not one issue. I hardly turn it up over 80 percent so, for me no distortion. But if I did.. it should be alright. It doesn't get Equally loud over 80 - 85 percent, just the mids and high. (Pretty much like all bluetooth speakers so nothing new)I like speakers that are more direct. (Unless it's a movie) Not really a fan of 360 speakers or spatial audio. I can just turn on Dolby Atmos if I want that kind of sound or use some eq phase of that sort. That makes people "think" the highs are amazing.. lol. "Think" the separation is amazing... lol. (Just my opinion)When you're used to studio monitors in a music recoding studio than you know what I mean.I mainly use bass on medium/high and around 70 percent volume.I'm impressed with this speaker, but don't think you're getting a 12 inch subwoofer in the trunk of your car because you'll be disappointed.Instead someone put a back seat, deck lid, 6 x 9 sub car speaker with two mid-range and two tweeters inside the size of a toaster that's inside your kitchen for size comparison.I've purchased many expensive speakers in the past and i regret all of them. But not really lol, I knew what I was getting into. But for this speaker, I have zero complaints with the price I paid for it. Definitely worth every penny.I wonder what its like to pair two? Maybe my second one refurbished to save money? Or wait for the next version of it?Welp.. I took a risk on this speaker. Will you ?

Lovely, satisfying, sound, powerful clean bass in a size you can easily travel with.
It's a sweet speaker to listen to for hours. The bass is superb, always a surprise when people hear it for the first time. I'm not a techy audiophile, but I have a good ear for excellent sound quality that is reproduced as recorded. I like to hear the whole spectrum even when there is a lot of bass. Those selections will show this speaker for the powerhouse that it is. If there's a little bass, it won't miss it. And the mids and highs are very satisfying. After hearing the one I bought a few weeks ago, listening was so satisfying that I bought another to do a stereo pair. The setup is easy enough but you'll probably have to go through it a few times before getting everything working. It takes a bit of time for the full setup, don't expect to do it in 2 minutes. I didn't use it, but comments say their technical support is excellent. So having a single is great, you won't take the pair everywhere you would take one, and one is the best sound you can hold on one hand. I have enjoyed the pair, and like the interface very much. You don't have to get left or right in your placement, it allows you to assign or change the position in the settings to left, right, or both stereo speakers (party mode). I haven't found a case for mine yet, but I like cases for everything to keep them looking new, so I'm looking at a couple of camera bags that are sized properly. My first impression was that the Brane X is pricey, but after hearing it compared to other equipment in that range, I think it's a good value, and that's why you can't find them discounted for new, and even used ones are very close to new price. I love Amazon's return policy, and I use it thoughtfully, but it makes a purchase like this one very safe. You have to hear it to be sure, but I think it's unlikely you'll return it.
