I will start by saying I rarely write reviews. Unless it’s something I love so much I can’t help but talk about it or it’s so bad I feel like I need to warn people about it, it’s just not worth my time. The fact that I am even writing this is a testament to this facial interface. I have owned 3 other facial interfaces including the stock one, and this one by AMVR is the best by far. My first upgrade from the stock interface was a previous model from AMVR. It was adjustable as this one is and while I found it to be very comfortable the adjustment process was so annoying and tedious that I didn’t even bother messing with it. You had to remove the facial interface entirely to adjust it which was annoying so I ended up getting a BoBoVR facial interface that had adjustable dials on the sides so you could adjust without removing the headset at all. The adjustment was smooth and worked well but everything else just kind of sucked. I found the pads to be way too soft and too thin, the light guard was a flimsy piece of fabric which was uncomfortable, and the whole thing felt really fragile. I was really disappointed because I use the BoBoVR S3 Pro halo strap and I had their M2 battery halo strap for my quest 2 and I found them both to be amazing products. I returned that one and got this one instead, which is cheaper by the way. If you have a halo head strap, you need to ditch whatever facial interface you are using and get this one immediately. The build quality feels really solid, you won’t worry about breaking it when you remove the interface. This thing is purpose built for halo head straps especially if you have a fan on yours like I do. My other facial interfaces didn’t let the air in so it just cooled my head and didn’t make it to my actual face. This one is ventilated with fans in mind so that air actually gets down into the display reducing sweat and lense fogging. The light guard doesn’t block 100% of the light but it does and good enough job and it’s super comfortable soft silicone rubber and you never notice it when you’re in VR. There is about a half inch of distance you can play with on the adjustment and the dials have a nice satisfying click so you can make sure each dial is adjusted to the same distance. Both face pads are very comfortable and the gel pad has a cutout on the forehead that lets in even more air. This is a solid product for a good price and if you pair it with the BoBoVR S3 Pro and some good knuckle grips you will get the ultimate stand alone VR experience

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought a new Halo strap for my headset and this was compatible with it. I've used AM VR products before and they've always been very good quality. I was very happy to find that they had this for the Halo type devices because their other interfaces are too tall and don't work with it. I'm happy to say that it is very comfortable. Feels cool on your face. It doesn't get very sweaty. It's easy to clean and with the adjustable knobs on the side for people with glasses, it's wonderful. I'm extremely happy with the price I paid and the quality of the product. For context, I play VR at least 3 hours a week and sometimes I have stretches as long as 6 to 8 hours on weekends. This is very comfortable for long sessions.

So I bought the Kiwi face replacement because let's face it, the og meta one hurts and is uncomfortable. It's like wearing jeans on your face. I couldn't decide between this and the kiwi replacement, so initially I bought the kiwi. It was hot, the nose thing was just ok but still let light in, it just wasn't what I wanted. So I bought the AMVR replacement. This!! This is what you want. Why you ask? It has cooling pads that actually keep you cool, at least where it counts. It is comfortable. That's right folks, it is more comfy than the kiwi and the original. The nose piece DOES NOT interfere or hurt my big ol nose, and it blocks light, so that's a plus. Now the bad. It might take a few adjustments and wesr to get total light blockage, not a game changer or a big complaint, but it is something that you should be aware of. Maybe because it needs to be broken in like some shoes or has to contour to your face, idk, maybe it's just me, milage may vary. It's easy to install, use, the design is light and is adjustable with the dials, so it functions like it should. Trust me, it's the one you want. No I'm not paid to review or a bot, I just tell it like it is.

So I was having issues with the face cover that came with my Quest 3 as it just wasn’t comfortable for longer sessions. Decided to try this one out and I’m glad I did. I was a bit nervous about ordering it because I use the BOBOVR halo and wasn’t sure if it would play nice together. Good news is it works fine! It’s a tiny bit snug where the halo strap sits but honestly it’s not even noticeable when you’re using it. The comfort difference is huge. Like, I can actually use my Quest 3 for a couple hours now without my face feeling sore. The padding is way better than the stock one and just feels more premium overall. The knob adjustment thing works well too, nice to be able to fine tune the fit when wearing glasses. Installation was super easy, just swapped it right out. Build quality seems solid, definitely feels like an upgrade from the basic foam padding that comes with the headset. If you’re on the fence about getting this because you’re having comfort issues with the original face cover, just get it. It’s one of those small upgrades that actually makes a noticeable difference. Especially if you’re doing longer VR sessions, your face will thank you.

What I like about this Face Cover for my Meta 3 is that it provides more comfort while wearing, thanks to the ice silk cushion effect in combination with my Halo Head Strap with a fan that blows air inside the face. I also like the upgraded knob adjustment for facial adjustment, making it easier to adjust the face guide, unlike the original face interface that comes with Meta 3, which requires more effort to adjust. Installation is very straightforward with a manual that has pictures showing how to install it properly. One thing I don't like is the thin silicone design in the nose part; it's irritating to my nose, but I am glad it's removable, and I wish they had designed it much better. It comes with both a silk pad and a PU leather pad, so I have more options for what I want to use to get a much better experience while using my Meta Quest 3. Overall, I really like the design of this facial interface for my Meta Quest 3; it makes my VR experience much more comfortable thanks to the cooling effect in combination with my head strap fan and the silk cushion. I will recommend this accessory upgrade for Meta Quest 3.

Hands down the most comfortable that I have tried for the Quest 3 (Had the other most popular types) with halo strap. Lovely soft padding and great FOV. The side dials are also a nice addition.
