Brutal honesty, here.. I've been using Meguiar's products, since my dad showed me how to wash and wax a car, back in the 80s. They tend to make quality products, and this one is no exception.Having never used their ceramic coating, I wasn't sure what to expect. I've gotten 'ceramic' shielding sprayed on my Jeep multiple times, when I'm bored and feel like going through an automatic wash, and have never really thought much about it.This product, seems to really do some crazy stuff, in that, once applied correctly.. water sheets off in an absolutely crazy fashion.. in way I've not seen at a car wash, nor with waxing.I've not had a chance to fully do the entire Jeep in this, yet, due to it being too cold.. However, the few spots where I've tried it, have not only repelled water and dirt well enough.. but the snow and ice from a couple of weeks ago also didn't seem to stick to it... (which made for an interesting experience when I didn't fully clear my hood off, thinking the engine would have to warm up before it would come off)Anyway... it's been 3 weeks since I applied this stuff to the hood, and it still looks as clean and as slick as ever. We'll see how long it lasts.. but for now, I'm happy with the product. (again, I may be biased, being a Meguiar's long term user)For ME, the biggest shocker, was the quality of the microfiber cloths included. I'd expected some generic $1 or less cloths, that fray and lint up at the first use.. BUT, these things are on par with some of the cloths I've used to keep my camera gear clean. (obviously, not using the ceramic on the gear) That's a nice bonus, to me. Means I can keep these specifically for this purpose, and use the generic cloths I have, for the dirt.. ahem.. water bucket ;)Strongly recommended.

I've been trying out this ceramic coating kit, and I’m impressed with how easy it is to apply. I usually stick with Turtle ICE Spray Wax, but this was a nice change. While it’s not a full ceramic coating, it delivers nearly the same performance with a fraction of the effort - perfect for someone like me who doesn’t want to spend hours detailing. The water beading and slick finish are solid, and the included microfiber towels are surprisingly high quality, much thicker than the cheap, disposable ones.Pros:- Easy to apply with results close to real ceramic coatings- High water beading and glossy finish- Premium thick microfiber towelsCons:- Not as durable as a professional ceramic coating- Might not be worth it if you already use a good spray wax- Premium price for a DIY kit

Believe it or not, my beaten-up Honda Odyssey got a new lease on life thanks to this Meguiar's ceramic coating! I applied it with pretty low expectations given how the Florida sun had abused my paint for years. The results genuinely surprised me, the depth and gloss returned in ways I hadn't thought possible for such an aging vehicle. Application couldn't have been simpler, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the included microfiber towels (usually these freebies are throwaway quality at best). We've been through some serious Florida downpours since application, and watching water continue to bead up beautifully weeks later feels almost magical. Running my hand across the surface reveals this satisfying smoothness that wasn't there before, and parking in sunlight now creates this eye-catching shine that makes my old minivan look years younger. This product reinforces why I keep returning to Meguiar's products, they consistently deliver results that exceed expectations, especially for breathing new life into older vehicles that still have plenty of miles left in them.

It's a good kit to get into coating your vehicle.I used this on my Bronco and held up for a few washes. Happy with the results.If you want to do some wax coating but don't have alot of time to bust out all the wax buffing machine, this will do.Would say it's a good buy for under 20.00
