Remus Ventanus savior of Calth
Very Good figure, the hand painted details are cool, and it has very good articulation. Nothing was damaged even though the cardboard shipping box had a warp in it, the box for the figure was unaffected. The figure had all of its parts and the only problem was the standard flag has a weak point but was easy to glue together. The figure came in a day before the earliest time of delivery.

Amazing detail
Amazing detail and sculpt. The banner looks great, as well. I wish he had a more ornate bolter, but that is my only complaint.

Like smaller SHFiguarts
JoyToy does something that in this new toy world is almost unheard of. They create hyper articulated figures that are bigger than G.I.Joes but not as big as most SHFiguarts. They include swappable hands, accessories and armor with tons of detail, great paint and come in far under the price of SHFiguarts. The figures have a good weight to them without being too heavy. They hold their poses very well although with some of the larger accessories, the poses may droop a bit over time. These are meant to be played with and handled so paint is kept more basic than collector series statuettes but the finish is matte so if you have the skill, you can custom paint these to look amazing. Overall, I am very pleased with this Warhammer figure.

Great figure, broken banner
Figure came in great condition with all pieces except the banner pole broke off in the box so now I need to glue it back on, not a deal breaker just slight annoyance

This is my first figure from JoyToy and my first real step into the Warhammer world, besides playing Dawn of War and Space Marine (both 1 and 2). I have friends who are into painting miniatures, but I mostly collect imported figures and model kits from China and Japan. Still, Warhammer has always been on my radar since I often see JoyToy’s Warhammer line listed among the figures I normally collect, and I’ve always been curious to see what they were about. Having played the games I mentioned, I’ve always had a soft spot for the Ultramarines and the Blood Ravens, so I was very happy to receive this Remus Ventanus figure and finally get a little closer to the Warhammer universe and its lore. The figure comes with quite a few accessories, though there’s no instruction manual, so I had to look online for product images to figure out how to use the clear base and support arm. You get three pairs of hands in total: two with trigger fingers, two meant to hold the flag pole, and two for holding the sword in either hand. Some additional hand options, like clenched fists or open hands, would have been nice, but the included set already allows for a wide variety of poses. There’s a clear base with small pegs that fit into the holes under each foot to keep the figure stable, plus another clear arm stand with a patinated silver holder to support the flag pole. There’s also a small flag base, a removable scabbard that holds the sword, a separate bolt gun for posing, and a holstered bolt gun that doesn’t come out of its holster. The set also includes detachable grenades and a satchel pack, which peg securely onto the belt. While you can hold some of these items in a hand, each has a peg sticking out, so they aren’t really designed for hand-holding. Nothing was overly tight and everything fit near perfectly during assembly. The head and hands pop off easily and reattach firmly. You get two head options: one helmeted and one bare. The unhelmeted head has excellent sculpt detail, though the eyes make it look like the irises are a bit too large and dark. The backpack is removable and has a ton of sculpted detail as well. Paint quality across the figure is excellent. The metallic and gold accents look great, and the banner itself has beautiful sculpt detail with raised emblems. The paint on the banner is mostly clean, with just some very small overlaps you’d only notice up close. The white part of the banner has visible weathering that looks good, though the gold trim and brown pole look a bit too pristine in comparison. The banner connects to the pole by pressing the two pieces together firmly, but I had to press down harder than I’d like, which made me worry I might snap the pole since it’s a little thin and not very flexible. There’s a nice mix of soft plastic in different areas, like parts of the epaulettes, tabard flaps, belt, and white ribbons on the banner. The epaulettes in particular move around a bit too easily and don’t always stay centered on the shoulders. There are no overly stiff joints anywhere, but some are a bit loose, especially the chest joint, which makes the figure topple to the side when holding the banner. Using the included stands fixes that problem completely. The articulation is surprisingly good for this kind of figure. The arms can move across the chest, the waist has good range with a lot of side-to-side motion, and the legs move far back with enough range to have the figure in a realistic kneeling lunge pose. There’s even a bit of foot pivot despite the large boots, and a toe bend, which I didn’t expect at all. The packaging is a single tray, which is fine, though unlike other imports I’ve seen, there weren’t any small sheets of protective plastic around delicate parts. The box art, however, is excellent, showing the figure itself in action rather than just concept art. Overall, the amount of detail packed into this figure is very impressive, especially at this size. Everything feels premium and well designed, with a few tiny paint imperfections that don’t detract from the final presentation. Even as someone who doesn’t know much about the lore beyond the games, this figure feels like a great standalone display piece. I already have another JoyToy figure on the way, so this is the start of what could easily become a massive collection. Pros: - Excellent sculpting and paint work all around - High level of articulation - Variety of accessories: multiple heads, hands, weapons, banner, backpack - Stands and base provide stability for display - Good packaging and great box art - Strong overall display presence, even for someone unfamiliar with Warhammer Cons: - Flag pole is thin and requires careful assembly - Some joints, particularly chest and shoulders, are a bit loose - No instruction manual

I bought this figure for my collection and I am extremely impressed with the quality. This Ultramarines Remus Ventanus action figure is highly detailed, capturing the look of the character perfectly. The construction is solid, and the figure feels sturdy and well-made. All the joints move smoothly, allowing for a good range of posing. Considering the level of detail and the overall craftsmanship, I feel that the price matches the product quality exactly. This is a fantastic collectible for any fan and would make a great birthday gift for someone who appreciates high-quality models.
