I soaked the first batch of ten seeds in water, which gets changed everyday. They get direct up-to-the-late morning sun in my balcony. They started germinating after two days; one was a dud. Stems shoot out fast; leaves started coming out on the fourth day. Photo with leaves spread on water surface was taken eight days after. It seems to me they grow and develop faster when they sit on the sand they can anchor on for support. However, they flourish whether the roots lay on the sand or remain suspended in water. I will post again if and when they start to bloom. And yes, I use a makeshift little “pond” out of cut-out water gallon jug for starter.

Do not buy this product! Not only did I receive only 10 little seeds that weren’t full size instead of the 60 piece that claimed to have sent SMH, but they did not grow at all! I’ve grown these type of flowers before. Never having this issue up until now. It seems to me the seeds that were sent to me. We’re not at full maturity and potentially weren’t ready to be harvested or something to that extent.

I hate that there are no instructions. But there are a lot of good online resources telling you how to do this properly. I've gotten about an 85% germination rate from these seeds, which is a lot more than I could possibly use. I do wish there were some way to tell which color is which, so I'm just hoping i have a variety. You really do need to change the water EVERY day for the first week or so, while the plants are starting to sprout, or it will become a swamp. This is the first plant I can't kill by overwatering, so I'm really happy about them.

Seeds arrived on time. No instructions, so I watched YouTube videos on instructions. I didn't read reviews before I bought seeds, so when seeds arrived I finally read reviews while looking for instructions. So...after reading reviews I thought " Well, it won't hurt anything to through them in some water". So, I just threw them in my regular faucet water and basically forgot about them for almost a week, and to my surprise, they sprouted!! I have a bowl full of sprouted lotus seeds. I now change the water every day and tomorrow I plan on planting them in aquarium substrate for water plants. Who knows I may even add a fish or two! I'm really excited now about these lotus plants they get bigger every day! Don't hesitate to buy, I'm glad I did! I gave half the seeds to my daughter and hers are doing well too.

No flower was bloom only stems that have a small leaf.

Not impressed. Got nice roots and leaves but 2 week and no sign of flowers

The seeds was all rotten... out of 60 it was not even one good quality. not recommended at all
