The amber nectar!
This brought back lovely memories of Sri Lanka. As a young adult growing up on the island, I used every opportunity to imbibe a variety of local tipple, and this doesn't disappoint. It has lovely notes of coconut, smooth on the pallet, whilst igniting wonderful memories of warm evenings, dramatic sunsets, and sandy beaches with waves lapping against your bare feet. Drink it on the rocks, with some added mineral water, with a bit of 40's Jazz in the background, and I promise you will not be able to stop pouring a few more! On my second bottle now and will soon order another!

Deliciously different
Much smoother than the stuff I was used to drinking in Sri Lanka. I suspect that's supposed to be a good thing but, for me at least, the roughness was part of its charm. Still delicious though - it's like a fruitier, tropical version of whiskey or brandy. Would be great to see it more widely available.

Easy drinking!
As a rum nut, I was introduced to Arrack at a local Sri Lankan restaurant. Bought 2 bottles the next day. Very smooth & easy drinking, similar to a golden rum when mixed with pretty much anything, but especially ginger beer

Bought on a whim nicely presented but not to my taste
Bought on a whim nicely presented but not to my taste, seems quite harsh on the palate and find I need to mix with something else, goes reasonably well with Malibu. Personally wouldn't repeat purchase.

Tastes the same as arrack in Sri Lanka
Bought this for my partner after he got a taste of it while in holiday in Sri Lanka years ago. He says this tastes just like the stuff he had in Sri Lanka. He drinks it with lemonade as he says it is a bit harsh on it own, which he found out in Sri Lanka and wobbled back to the cabana 😂😂. Well worth the money in my opinion as it made my partner happy.

Delicious
Tasty drink, notes of Agricola Rum, Whisky & Tequila, but it’s own thing!Great with coconut water, ice and a wedge of lime.

Disappointed
This was recommended to me. I could not taste even a hint of coconut or anything else. It’s just spirit. It’ll get used with mixers and in cocktails. Not for me I’m afraid.
