But, when you put it on your skin and smell from a few inches away the smoke smell is completely gone and it smells exactly like wood! I think it is worth it.

I bought this to mix with other essential oils to make a spray as a bug deterrent because I have a horrible bug phobia and I've already sprayed way too much poison in my condo and wanted something natural. It smelled really good and, mixed with water, sprayed nicely onto surfaces without leaving an oily residue. It was pretty effective at keeping bugs away when mixed with other essential oils.

I use a top name eo company. This smells identical to the real thing. I have not done my research on NOW as to how authentic these guys are. But they sure seem top quality. And so far every scent I have ordered of NOW, seems top notch. Well worth the money. I diffuse, perfumes, lotions, dryer balls, etc. Love this stuff!! Price is right too.

This is the most beautifully scented Cedarwood Oil! That's why I ordered more. It just smells so pure and lovely. I am a big fan of cedar though, so maybe I am biased! The oil comes in a generous 1 ounce amber-colored glass bottle, with a childproof cap. Good for keeping those 'young-ins' out of your stuff. The opening in the top is small, allowing the oil to be released just a drop at a time, excellent for precisely measuring out how much you need. I personally use this oil to sprinkle some drops onto some small pieces of real cedar wood (sanded and finished), that are used to keep my closet and dresser drawers smelling nice. After awhile, these pieces of wood lose their scent, and this Cedarwood oil refreshes it. You could also use this oil for candle or soap making, as well as massage or fragrance oil, if you add a carrier oil. Open the bottle and take a sniff...you will be instantly transported to a fragrant forest full of cedar trees! Ahhh....so nice.

Wow, forget cologne, this stuff smells AMAZING! I live in a desert climate, and miss the smell of woods, so I was simply grabbing scents like pine, ceder, etc; but this stuff smells right at home smudged on my favorite leather cowboy hat. 'Might just send a sampler to my friends in a forested area to see if throwing a few drops in their laundry every now and again reduces their sightings of ticks. Wouldn't that be fascinating. :D
