Wow! This stuff is IMPESSIVE. Removes dirt from leather in easy, circular motions without any hard work. My camel-colored Copenhagen chair and ottoman never looked so good with such minimal effort! Definitely feels conditioned as well. Highly recommended. No more saddle soap buffing for this gal!

Somehow, our 2 1/2 year old grand daughter got hold of a Sharpie and autographed my almost new $3000 leather recliner. See the photo on the left. The Guardsman cleaner worked really well and got most of the Sharpie mark out with no effect on the rest of the leather. Overall, Guardsman makes a very effective leather cleaner and conditioner combo. Also works well on shoes and all other leather, even car seats. Non-greasy or sticky, does not discolor even light leather. Thankfully it even works on Sharpie marks!

I used this product as a last resort for some western boots that my wife discovered had been stained and crusted by a water leak. It took three easy treatments and to both of our amazement the stains disappeared and the boots look perfectly good to wear. Be patient and follow the directions.

I found a tan aniline leather couch out on the curb in my neighborhood and took it home. It was so dirty that the seats were almost black. I didn't have much experience with cleaning leather before this, but the store where the couch came from recommended this product to clean it. The results were amazing to me. I had been told the black spots were body soil and wouldn't be able to come out, but this stuff lightened them by at least 50%. It took about 3 washes to get there before nothing else would come up but it was well worth the work. I wish I took pictures for the before and after but I was too enthused with trying to clean it as quick as possible I had a hell of a time getting the stuff to foam though with the directions given. I ended up getting one of those foaming soaps from the dollar store. It's the kind of bottle where you pump it like a hand soap bottle but it creates a foam with the solution inside. I emptied out the soap in it and washed it out really well before putting the cleaner inside it. That way it was just a few pumps to get enough foam for an area. What I did was apply the foam, scrub gently with a Tampico brush that was softened in warm water, rub down with a sponge and finally wipe of the cleaner with a soft towel. I don't personally feel like it dried out the leather despite all the cleaner used on it, but like I said, I have very limited experience with cleaning leather. From what I saw though, seems like an excellent product! Update January 2017 I have tried the Leather Master brand since writing this review and I really feel Guardsman is a superior product. It cleans more quickly and easily and my couch just seems so much softer without it drying it out. I'll stick to Guardsman from here on out.

I bought this product to clean and condition my leather furniture. Negative: I could not figure out how to dispense the liquid without taking off entire cap. Positive: I used a shamee to rub the liquid on the leather and I definitely saw some grime on the cloth and it left the leather very well conditioned and lustrous. The leather had started to feel dry and dull and I knew it needed cleaning and conditioning, especially after sweating on it for the last year. I'm satisfied with the product and would purchase again

I use this to clean and moisturize my leather cushion dining chairs. I have used the product for almost 10 years and the chairs still look great.

I didn't have a tough cleaning project to tackle. Just some general light dirt from my dog lying on the leather. First off, the locking top to the liquid is some high tech contraption that is just stupid and very hard to get off. I hope that kind of top isn't the way of the future. It's unnecessarily complicated, and there are no instructions regarding how to get it off. Takes two hands, and unless you sit it on the counter, it would be easy to spill the contents just trying to get into it. It's a pain to use. You have to soak a sponge with it and try to work it up into a foam. You have to use way too much to try to get a foam, and that's even on a tiny sponge. For the money and effort involved, I'll just go back to my simple, equally affordable, reliable Tannery foam spray. I'm being generous giving this product three stars.
