Goody - 08575 Samantha Barrettes, (6 Pieces) (Assorted Colors)

I love the gold ones but this set is nearly obsolete in stores where I live so I was really excited to see them here.The silver lasts longer and looks nicer than the gold because over time, the gold fades to silver and 2 tone just looks cheap. The painted one chips over time too but the silver looks great for years. Of the last pack I bought, I have 1 silver left.My hair is just above my knees and naturally pin straight. There's not much I can do with it because it's so long, it's also heavy so it won't hold a curl. Barrettes are fun but most don't stay in or aren't comfortable all day. These stay put all day, no rearranging and they're really comfortable. At the end if the when I take my hair down, my hair isn't sore. These are great clips for me to hold my hair back out of my face.

I haven't been able to find Goody products at my local drug stores in years and thought they were no longer around. Thankfully they still exist, making great products! In particular, for me having thicker, curly hair their barrettes are the best because they don't have the stupid anti-slip plastic on the clasp. I guess it's great if you have baby fine hair, but for anyone else it's a nightmare because you can't get them to close!Thank you Goody - love your products and so happy I can buy them through Amazon!

I bought this brand and style of barrettes all the time through childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, and now, in my more-adulthood.At some point in the last 10 years, I quit being able to find this brand and style at the drugstore OR Target. I have worn these kinds of barrettes for over 40 years, which are still the best on the market. I am so glad that Amazon carries these because they are difficult, if not impossible, to find in any store. I am not a fan of the clips, although I own a few decorative clips or hair clips I use when coloring my hair. I hope these barrettes will continue to be made because I really need these for the type of hair I have. They stay in all day, I like all the colors, and I just wish there were more color or design options for this particular type of barrette since I really love these and always will.
