Combo Pack - "Eleven Plus: Vocabulary Flash Cards" and "11+ & KS2: Mathematics Flash Cards - 2nd Edition"

We live in Ireland for 15 years. My daughter was born in Ireland. English is her second language. She is 11 and she will be attending the last year of primary next year. In Ireland there is reading and maths tests at the end of every school year. My daughter scored the highest in Mast on recent test but only an average in English. She asked me if I could help her with this and I thought she probably needs more vocabulary. I found those flashcards and out of curiosity i have bought not only English but maths too. I belive this is great resource for revising the topics and learning new words. The flashcards arrived yesterday and she already wanted to bind them and started to riding the context. And I belive this is brilliant for quick 5 minut revision before bed time. I hope this helps for anyone interested in buying flascards.

I purchased these flash cards based on the review and I'm not disappointed.The vocab cards are quite logical and well structured with definition, example sentence, synonymns & antonymns. Most importantly, focuses the age appropriate words unlike another brand which had quite weird words which i don't think is appropriate for 11plus or for that aged kids.Maths cards are excellent as we use them quite often to cover the topics for revision. It also has questions/puzzles for each section to test the understanding of the topic which is fab!One suggestion could be I would have liked if the Vocab box had another ring and also more robust like the Maths box. However, that doesn't compromise the quality of the content.Overall - i'm impressed and think it is very useful.

Really excellent product. Content is well thought out and well written. Very useful to be able to take this on car trips and breaks. Only downsides are the rings are not very solid and come apart quite easily. Also the vocab cards come in a box which is not as strong as the maths cards, it would have been nice if they were the same quality. Overall though, a really useful product

These Vocabulary and Mathematics Flash Cards are comprehensive and easy to use, having a very clear, well designed layout and text. They really do make learning fun and my twin grandchildren and their parents are loving them. I also have the Fiction and Non-Fiction Writing cards and, as an author, find they are a great source for quick reference.

I purchased the flash cards sets to start gradually preparing my daughter for 11+ exam.The vocabulary cards are great. They are structured in a logical and consistent way. They provide definitions, synonyms and antonyms.My daughter also takes these cards with her to school on a key ring (provided with the set) and uses the new vocabulary for her assignments.Overall the sets are of good quality. The only improvement I would suggest, would be to make the box for vocabulary flash cards as robust as the one for Maths.I would definitely recommend these sets to anyone looking to enrich their child's vocabulary and understanding of Maths terminology.

i received my combo pack this morning. The contents seem very useful and notes seem to be clear and concise. although my child is in year 4 i purchased the pack to for future use, however i may start to use some relevant cards this year. The maths set is presented in a durable box, i think it would have been great if the vocabulary set was in a similar style and sized box.overall pleased with my purchase

Arrived promptly and not dissapointed. Great little flash cards that I am hoping we will make good use of. The vocabulary cards seem clear with no excessive writing making them child friendly and easy to comprehend. The Maths cards are brilliant too. Split into logical sections with quiz questions at the end of each topic. They came with 4 ring bands each which is plenty sufficient. Very happy with purchase.

Time saver - didn’t have to make them myself! Agree with others, the maths box is sturdier, however the design of the vocab box is much better and cards are more easily accessible. Could do with a mixture of the two designs and materials. 3 rings in each box. Cards themselves seem of good quality, obviously time will tell if they last the course.
