Great picture great price
Let me first say that I am not an LG rep nor am I being paid to say any of this. But as you will see I like to stick with a brand that I find that I personally like. I have 2 LG phones and I am replacing my last Samsung Blu-Ray player with another LG when I get a chance. I like that they play well with each other's remotes and thru the HDMI controls. Also, I've seen some people rate a product with like 1 star for something that is common to a product like poor blacks or poor sound quality... (News flash: look how thin new TV's are. They are not going to get good sound out of those tiny , thin little speakers no matter what you do. If you buy a big 75" behemoth, and you DON'T have a home theater setup or at the very least a good quality soundbar WITH subwoofer, then don't talk to me), or because of the experience they had with shipping or the online shopping experience. This review is strictly about my feelings about this TV and my use of it, and what led up to me making the purchase. With that out of the way, on to my review: I believe this is the best TV I have ever owned. I never get the latest model as they reduce the price after the new ones come out. Once I upgraded my 36" in my bedroom (which then replaced the paltry free 32" in the dining room over the fireplace) to a 55" LG flat LED (6570) and Blu Ray combo (I don't remember the model of the DVD player). It was only a matter of time before I started eying upgrades to the others in the house. I next replaced the 36" in the Dining room with a 43" LG 6070. Each time we saw the picture improve, but this 75" in the basement takes the cake. The Nano-Cell picture is so lifelike. I didn't think it would make that much difference, but it does. My family keeps telling me it's eerie to watch because they feel like the people on screen are on the other side of a hole in the wall. Darks are better than the other 2 TV's, Nano-Cell is probably the next closest to OLED in my opinon without the higher risk of image burn. I understand that it's still a risk but not as much as long as you practice some proper TV "hygiene". I will say the corners are a little dimmer, but I haven't fiddled with the picture settings too much yet. I believe this is the case with all of my new LED's. It is a side effect of LED lighting arrays. It isn't too noticeable. What can I say about the magic remote? Love it. Have it on my 55 and this 75... Need to get one for the 43" With the magic remote there really is no need for a streaming device like Roku or Fire TV, I just use the apps in the TV. That leaves 3 less items connected to my straining WiFi. I plan to hard wire all locations with Cat6 Ethernet but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I also loved the price. I was patiently waiting for this to drop, then I got it opened new from a seller here for an even bigger discount! I had a 72" Magnavox 1080P rear projection DLP TV that was pretty good. Image was a little dull but we liked it (at the time it was the best I could get. Paid $1500 for a floor model open box from Art Van - Paul's TV. I thought it was a steal because the LCD's were just coming out all with 3D and were astronomical in price - $3000+ for a 43"). I picked this up from a Prime seller who shipped it free and paid I "1575 for a new, still wrapped 75" that had never been touched. It still had the plastic shipping bands on the box so that was awesome. If I could I would give this 4.5 Stars across the board because of the minor things mentioned. And the only thing better I've seen is OLED, and I would love to be able to get that 77" beauty but it's $7000 and I ain't dropping that on a TV... So this will be it for a good long time.

Lacks Full-Array Dimming
Pros : - Size, - Web OS, - Magic Remote Huge Cons : - Black Levels The TV is beautiful but overpriced (even with Black Friday's price tag) for the highly disappointing black levels produced. On 16:9 letterbox the top and bottom bars are highly visible as the TV is only backlit from the bottom. Dynamic dimming is making it even worse ; almost offensive, you see the black bars dim on and off constantly. I've tried a lot of settings advised on expert websites and it is still disappointing in a normal evening setting. I'm thinking about returning it and get something better. (on a positive note, the sound is great).

My New LG Smart 75" TV is a Piece of Art
I love my new LG 75" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV. There are so many features to have fun with. I turned my TV into a $78 million dollar piece of art = Renoir's The Skiff. I fooled many people doing this. :-)

Excellent picture
The picture on this TV is excellent. The backlighting can be a bit distracting when the screen is mostly blank with anything else on it. Light bleeds out from any object on the screen which can be distracting. If you can afford it, definitely go with the OLED. If I'm being honest, I don't really notice the difference in resolution. Where it really shines is the depth of color from UHD. A game I play regularly, Sea of Thieves, went from pretty to actually breathtaking. The remote and UI are also top notch. Something I find a really odd design decision, though, is the stand. It's not stable AT ALL. Any sort of vibration can set the TV swaying which is nerve wracking. Granted, on the day to day your TV won't be subjected to a lot of vibration but there has been times it swayed so badly I thought it was going to fall over and nearly damaged it in my rush to grab it and keep it upright.

Beautiful resolution and quality. No HBO GO Apps.
This TV is heavy and will need a couple of hands to get it mounted onto the wall. Everything looks and works beautifully. Only giving it a 3 stars since the HBO GO apps is not available at all. Wish I knew this before purchasing.

Excellent TV
This is my first LG TV, coming from Samsung. First, the shipping, notification process leading to delivery was excellent. Package arrived safe and the 2-man delivery personnel handled it with care - I am impressed. The picture quality is excellent for me. The internal speakers sound good to but I have a receiver with ceiling speakers and a subwoofer so I don't use the internal speakers. I am happy with the TV and recommend it.

Died in under a week. LG support is AWFUL.
The TV died after a few days. Bad control board. LG support is awful. They're "not sure" if they have the part & will get back to me. That was 9 days ago. Have spent hours on hold.

Look no further
Best tv we have ever owned. The sound is amazing and also like the fact that you don’t need to turn up the volume half way for it to get loud. I wish my other TVs sounded like this one. The picture is stunning. The smart tv setup is nice and you can download a lot of apps.

I'm not sure how I feel about this television. I feel like I've been slightly ripped off as the screens contrast is very inconsistent. The unit has some technology that is trying to make the blacks appear more black, but all this technology does if cause distracting bars of light across the black screen when things like subtitles are on, or credits are rolling or icons are displayed in the corners of the screen, etc. The smallest amount of light casts these huge bars of light vertically on the screen. It's a very feature rich television and the quality of the construction and feel of the tv and it's parts is amazing, but the picture quality is just sub par for a 3000 dollar tv. I'm glad that I at least got it on sale, but even then I would have spent more to get a Sony and know that the picture quality was going to be perfect rather than but this. You don't buy a 75" television every day... So I'd pass on this one IMO

Packaging was fine however TV arrived broken. Line of pixels along left side and across the middle.
