So, yes, I was lured in with the fact it was also a bank. I had a King Kong bank as a kid and I thought what a cool idea. The ingredients made me think healthy yes, but it’s going to taste horrible. However, people said the Mixed Berry flavor was pretty tasty. Now the truth. The container is TINY! Bank?! More like an ape coin purse! And the taste?! You taste the mixed berry for 2-3 seconds and then it tastes like these skunk cabbage pills I used to take. Gross. So, don’t get it because it’s a cool bank or tastes great. Get it because it’s a healthy drink mix that you’ll chug, not savor throughout the day.

I have tried a few different super greens drink mixes, but this one surprised me because it actually achieves a different flavor. I really enjoyed this product. The packaging is so creative and I love that they have lines at the top to cut out a coin slot so you can convert the bottle into a little gorilla bank after the powder is gone. The powder itself smells like most super green mixes I've tried, which is not appealing to me, but it also had a bit of a sweet berry scent that gave me some hope. As with most other super green mixes, it's difficult to get this to fully dissolve in water, so I recommend using a shaker bottle. While the drink was still a little gritty, especially in the last few sips, it tasted slightly sweet and was easy to finish with just water. And in a berry smoothie, it tastes absolutely incredible while still adding the super greens you'd want in your smoothie. I also love that this product is USDA certified organic and third party tested, so I feel good about enjoying it. I would absolutely recommend Primal Organic Super Greens, especially to those like me that don't like the typical smell or taste of super green supplements and still want to try to be a little healthier!

I didn't expect this super greens supplement to be as palatable as it is, to be honest. I think most people would be fine just mixing it with juice or water. It has a very mild, slightly sweet flavor. I added it to my smoothies which, because there are so many other ingredients, made this supplement pretty much imperceptible. As a vegan, I appreciate the high iron content. I would like this supplement even more, and would order it again, if they included other vitamin and mineral values on the Supplement Facts label and if there were a way to verify that it is third party lab tested. It's very important to me that my nutritional supplements are third party lab tested for purity and quality, but if I can't verify it, I can't be certain it's true. This Primal Organic Super Greens powder only claims to be "Produced in a third-party tested facility" and makes no claims about the product itself being tested. For that reason, I've deducted two stars, and unfortunately won't be consuming any more of this product unless they provide lab test results showing it is safe and doesn't contain any heavy metals or other contaminants.

It smells like sweet fish food, the flake kind, I use to feed to my aquarium fish. Must be from all the nutritious greens in it. I tried a half dose (1/2 scoop) in 4 to 5 ounces of water. If you stir it vigorously with a spoon, it mixes decently. It tasted OK but was on the sweet side. The sweetness comes from stevia not sugar. Those who are used to sugar, may not like the different sweetness taste of stevia. I don't mind it. Although I did feel a bit clearer headed, I didn't notice any big changes after taking it, but that's true of most supplements I try. The label shows all sorts of what I would call, nutritious greens and some fiber. The label states is USDA Organic and manufactured exclusively for Primal. The page description states, "Produced in a third-party tested facility", but doesn't say where it's made or where the ingredients are from. I took a star off for leaving this important information out. Usually those items manufactured and sourced in the USA clearly and proudly state it. Would be nice to know. Conclusion: If your busy and looking for an easy and quick way to get more greens into your diet, this may be worth a try. I think the ape head container it comes in is kind of cool.

I absolutely love these super greens, not only do they taste good and have a great selection of greens and vitamins, they also are stored in the best container I have ever seen for a health product. I commend Primal for there innovative package design, not only is it functional for the product, but looks cool and can be repurposed as a bank or just a cool looking storage container for other items which definitely sets them apart from all the boring throw away bottles every other vitamin or supplement I have ever bought comes in. The powder mixes easily and I have taken it by itself and mixed it with some of my store bought juices for a daily greens boost. I highly recommend this company and product, I'll definitely be buying more of their products in the future.
