These are great. Kept our potato salad and toss salad both really cold on a hot day. Only issue was there was a lot of condensation so around the bowlGets wet. Putting a towel underneath solves the problem. Very attractive. Two guests asked where we got them. We got the larger size. The smaller size would only handle dip size portion.

The bowls did exactly what they were supposed to do!! They kept my chicken salad and spinach dip nice and cold for hours, and were still cold when I put the food away. They are a nice quality stainless steel with a rubber base to prevent sliding while serving. They were very easy to fill with water and freeze. Some other reviews commented on the little caps to seal the water were inadequate or easy to lose, however I found no issues with them. I found that they firmly snapped into the bowl to seal. I then sat the bowls flatly into my freezer over night before filling them with food the following day. The caps are tiny, but they give extras in case you do happen to lose them. This was a great find as I always worry about food safety. I am sure they would work just as well if you pour boiling water in the cavity to keep food hot, however I have not tried that yet.

Keeps my guacamole cold for hours! But put a towel underneath it for condensation.

I bought two bowls for a Christmas party.Filled one with water, 3/4 full and froze overnight. Took out, placed some ice inside the bowl and added shrimp w cocktail sauce.With the other bowl, filled with hot water and sealed. Then added sausage balls straight from the oven.Took both to a party and were a big hit.The shrimp bowl remained cold for the entire party. The other bowl that had hot water was still warm at the end of the night.Great purchase for apps!

Love the concept but returned it because of the aesthetics. The rim was too thick and not appeal to the eye. Maybe it’d be great for a picnic or such. I returned it so I don’t know how cool it would keep your food.

These bowls kept my food cold for about 8 hours. I even put a cold bowl of dip inside the bowl and it kept it cold for hours. I put fruit in the other. Just fill them up with water and place the stoppers in them and freeze overnight.This is a perfect item and a great gift for someone who entertains.

My wife loves these bowls. They keep everything cold / warm for a good period of time. Perfect for parties or everyday dinners.

Great for keeping items cold. Disadvantage for me was that it is very heavy to carry when full.
