Brooks Men's Ghost Max 2Sneaker

These shoes are by Far the best I've had! I've tried so many shoes with lots of cushion butwas disappointed. Most high cushioned shoes are too squishy and make it difficult to walk because there isnt any support. I have bad knees and low back problems. These shoes move the pressure off the bottom of my knees and it seems to redirect pressure to my thighs, crazy right! But my thighs are stronger than my knees. When I wear hokas my balance if off and the soles are way too squishy and put unnecessary stress on my knees and shins. My ten year search ended here! In the beginning I tried on brooks but the didn't have the cushion I was looking for but hoka's did. But some reason they changed the design of the soles to super soft and no support? I tried another pair of brooks running shoes and they had great cushion in the heels but I wanted the same in the front also, so I came across the Brooks Ghost Max and decided to buy them after 7 day trial. Instead of 7 days I purchased them in 2. These have the best of both worlds I was looking for, cushion and support and most of all Comfortable! I wear them all day in my travels and even around the house. Great shoes 10 out of 10

Just a disclaimer, I'm not a runner. I don't know too much about physics. Nor am I a podiatrist. I love these shoes. I can hear the treads gripping the ground when I walk. I weigh over 200 lbs, and there's plenty of "travel" in the cushioning. Lastly, there is a sensation of being pushed forward as I walk. At the ball of my foot to the toe, the shoe feels as if there a lot of energy pushing my foot into the next step. Thanks for reading.

Second pair I bought. Great for walking or speed walking. I have several foot issues and use orthotics so my feet are not low maintenance, but these work fine. These are much better than comparable Asics.

I get what Brooks was going for here with the super cushioned shoe. Don't get me wrong, these felt incredible to walk in, but they are on the heavier side and they look a little odd when you wear them. My wife said they look like the Sketchers Shape Ups from back in the day.
