Very easy to use and this thing works.
I just used the starter for the first time and all I can say is WOW!. I put a 4 cell lipo on it and it turned over my brand new RCGF 56 with ease. It started right up. That sure saved my hand because when I flip it and it would back fire and catch my hand. I just hope this starter give my good use for a long time. I am very pleased with this starter and would recommend it to anyone starting a gas RC engine 20cc up.

It does start a 70cc twin!
I was a little Leary about the advertised power of this unit but I took a chance on it anyway. I want to thank everyone who answered my questions as your answers closed the deal for me.I Have a 70cc twin that takes some time to get started when it sits around for a couple months. My shoulders cannot take the flipping any more to get it primed (torn rotator cuffs and nerve damage) so I needed a high torque starter to do the job. This does that job with ease!!! I am running a 4 cell lipo (some advise from the Q & A section) and tried it out today and could not be happier with the results. Now hopefully it will give me the service over the next couple years. Time will tell.

Works ok not really happy with switch location, it feels awkward when using. Otherwise I’m happy with it

TOC Starter Review
TOC Roto Terminator Starter would have received 5 stars but for the rubber cone starting to shred a little after only a dozen or so uses. The rubber material needs to be a little firmer, other than that the torque is impressive with the reduction gear and easily started my G62 and even my Sachs 5.8.

Cheap quality and it won’t last :(
This starter seems beefy and like it should do the job, but I’ve had nothing but problems with it. First off the rubber end slips and as it does the rubber is cheap and shreds into pieces really fast. Second thing to go was the momentary switch and after using the rear switch that one quit working too... I replaced both switches with new high quality ones and other than the cheap rubber cone it was working well. Then today it stopped working while trying to start a 35cc engine and it started smelling like something burned up. The starter would no longer turn, the solenoid still clicked but nothing else. Never tried starting anything larger than a 35cc engine and most of the time I was starting .40-.90 size nitro 2 and 4 strokes. I took the starter apart and one of the windings from an armature had come off and wedged itself between the armature and the magnets and broke. Not only did it break but it caused two of the coils of windings to fry! This starter and it’s components are super cheap and will last a few months if you are lucky. Don’t make the mistake I did. Buy a good name brand starter and don’t waste your time here.

WOW! Turns a DA50 with ease!
Got this yesterday and tested on my DA-50 with a 12V car battery. Flipped with no issues! Put a 3C 2200 MA battery on it and again, flipped with no issues! The handle is carbon fiber. a bit sharp. I will use some sticky tape to wrap around it to keep from any possible cuts to the hand, and help keep heat build off the handle.Over all. Great starter and will save the shoulder!

Works with 55-80 cc engines!
I works great , 55dle and starts zdz 80cc , 4s 3000! Check the connectors to the start button , both were loose , I tightened them and it works great now!

Incredibly disappointed
Extremely disappointed. On the first attempted start of my plane, both switches broke. I had to buy switches, and thankfully I know how to solder. I would look somewhere else for a starter!
