These buckles are functional and cinch down properly (they're not the stupid kind that requires the strap keeper to keep it tight because the buckle part just slips), but they don't have the little guiding grooves inside the buckle or as thick and sturdy of a feel to the plastic as other buckles I've used. They're fine for most applications but I wouldn't trust them for heavy duty use.

I have a roll of nylon strapping laying around that I bought a while back, so I got these so I could make custom size nylon straps. The buckles are very sturdy and work smoothly. Obviously, most plastic buckles are going to break before the nylon strap, but these seem like the would stand up to quite a bit. Seems like a good price too.

I'm sure these buckles are fine. But I wouldn't know because all I got was an empty package with a hole in it. I understand that this is fulfilled by amazon so I can't blame the seller. But I also can't give an accurate review. That said, they're plastic buckles. Never met a bad one.
