This pattern is so lovely. I go it to put treats on to enjoy tea with my tea for one set. I can't say how beautiful it is. I am so spoiled. It was a great purchase

This item was exactly as described and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Like the review I left for the cup and saucer, I purchased a few pieces of RA Country Roses to finish out a set that consists of all original pieces of RA. I'm very happy with these even though they are not a perfect. They are close enough. I sincerely doubt anyone else would notice. The new pieces are not any heavier or thicker than the original. I agree with another reviewer that the older pieces have a bit of an iridescence (very subtle) which the newer pieces don't have. The colors on the newer ones are more vibrant but I feel the older pieces have more depth and I prefer the softness of the colors, but again, not a big deal. The new plates have a tiny bit smaller circumference than the older salad plates. I'm including a couple of pics to help others make a more informed decision. I checked and the gold trim doesn't seem to be in danger of rubbing off as someone else mentioned. In the picture of the plates side by side, the newer plate (from Indonesia) is on the right, the one made in England on the left. In the picture of them stacked the one from England is underneath the newer plate from Indonesia.

I ordered four of these plates and they arrived in a large box with four smaller boxes in it, containing one plate each.I was a bit disappointed as one of the plate was made in Indonesia (the other three were made in England). You can tell the differences: the colors of the roses are less vibrant (especially the red color of the roses is darker and dull) and the gilding at the periphery seems to be of lessor, uneven quality. I did a blind test to my friend and that one plate was easily picked up among four as inferior. However, I must add that the one from Indonesia is still beautiful.My initial impression of the other three plates are very positive. The colors are deliciously lively, and the glaze has delicate translucency.As the Amazon description didn't say anything about the country of origin, and I bought it with the 4-for-3 promotion, which is an additional 25% discount on an already marked down price, I'm overall happy with the products. I just hope that the Indonesian plate, as well as the others, retains its initial beauty for long time.

I had always wanted this beautiful pattern in fine china. They are all I ever hoped they would be. They are beautiful on my table and are a pattern that will suit anyone's taste. Because I love roses and English country gardens, I find this pattern very appealing.
