I didn’t end up needing this mesh, as I went in a different direction with my tile project & used the built in backing on my tiles. I’m not totally sure, but this product seems to be a pretty good value for money. Size was as expected, straightforward to use, and the glue stuck to it well when I did a quick test of it. I’m torn on how to review the durability of the product because i really have nothing to compare it to, but i think that the product would function as needed for setting mosaics or tile. Was very close to giving this four stars but i never used it, so i can’t confirm the durability. I’m sure that it would work just fine.

As described. Buy with confidence. I was volunteering with children at an elementary school to make tiles and then mosaic tile birdbaths. The mesh was a necessity and this was perfect for 3 birdbaths about 23-24 inches round with leftovers. The mesh was cut into a circle and then covered in tiles and glass beads and glue. Then picked up and shifted this way and that way and things were pushed and pulled and moved around until it was in the birdbath just so. Then we did all the next things. But this mesh screen held up to all my demands and the tiles stayed in place.

Perfect material to use for mosaics, but beware that it’s a fiberglass material & irritates the skin easily. Wear gloves when handling. NOT THE FAULT OF THIS BRAND, just the material in general.

The mesh is of great quality, came folded but flatted out well. I will be using the mesh for a mosaic project to hold the tiny tile in place in the design before they are permanently cemented to the concrete and grouted in. I cut it into the sizes I will need for the project and its remained flat. I'm excited to get the project started now.

Outstanding product. Very easy to handle and work with.

The product is as described, but I have a disaster inside because I cut the fiberglass with scissors inside. I have fiberglass fibers EVERYWHERE. In my skin, clothing, bedding. THERE IS NO WARNING ABOUT THIS.

Worked great for a mosaic on a wall fountain. Saved us a lot of time. Very sturdy, but cut easily with a utility blade
