My son needs a watch for secondary school and we didn’t want to send a smart/digital watch that might get him into trouble. He likes the simple design and it does well with his uniform. We did manage to get it for just over £8 so worth tracking the price on this item. Great value at that price. I would pay up to £15 for it happily.

Great boys watch suitable for school.

At first glance this is a cheap and cheerful child's watch in the style of a "divers watch". However, I experienced a couple of immediate problems. Firstly the watch didn't appear to work. And the instruction manual was for an entirely different watch. This watch is plastic with a single face but the manual was for a "steel" watch with 3 additional faces. Anyway. To cut a short story even shorter, *very* close examination revealed a *tiny* piece of white plastic lodged behind the cog on the side of the watch. After an awkward struggle to remove this (make sure you have tweezers if possible!) I simply pushed the cog inwards and the watch became operational. So the main problem with this item was really the lack of clear (and relevant) instructions. The watch is battery powered, so I'm assuming will last quite some time. But who knows? And bear in mind you'll need a special tiny screwdriver to remove the rear if the battery does need replacing. So I'd really consider this more of a disposable watch than something for the long term. In which case it's probably somewhat overpriced. So I'll things considered I'd rate this watch with 3 stars.

My boy love it

Good very reasonably priced watch. Keeps good time & is a nice size. It is a gloss not matt finish which I wasn't really expecting from the image. The keeper can be a bit pinchy which is probably my fault as I don't want it loose and spinning around my wrist

I bought it for my 8 year old and he was able to learn how to tell time within a few hours. So pleased and happy I bought it.
