Great quality leotard and fits true to size. The straps are adjustable and it is breathable and comfortable.

I ordered the small (4-6) for my 5 year old daughter who weighs about 35 lbs. and fits in clothes anywhere from sizes 4-6 depending on the brand, and it fit perfectly, with the straps adjusted to about their tightest fit. The straps still fell down some, but after volunteering at her dance recital where all the girls were wearing these in various brands, it seemed to be a pretty common problem. While I appreciated the adjustable straps, the metal parts did irritate her shoulders. The fabric is nice and thick and seems like it would last a while. After reading lots of reviews on similar products, I'm glad I went with this one.

I recently purchased the Capezio Girls' Team Basic Camisole Leotard for my daughter and while she loves the style and the material, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. The leotard is made of a comfortable and stretchy material that my daughter says was comfortable. However, the sizing is a bit off - I would recommend sizing up because the leotard fit a bit smaller than expected. My daughter is tall and thin and normally wears a size 10. I purchased the 8-10 As a result, the leotard was tighter on her than she would have liked but we made due (last minute order for one of her performances 🙃). Overall, the Capezio Girls' Team Basic Camisole Leotard is a great value and my daughter would have been happier with fit in the next size. So I would recommend sizing up if you are unsure.

This leotard was purchased to wear under costumes for ballet. Since costume changes need to be quick, this made it easy to dress and undress. The straps are adjustable and they can unhook which is great because I was able to do a cross-cross with the straps to match a costume my daughter was wearing. The fabric is stretchy, but not sheer at all. True to size as well. Definitely recommend.

I read the other reviews prior to purchasing this leotard for my 8 year old daughter. She is 49" tall and 60lbs and typically a size 8 in regular clothing. Based on the other reviewers commenting on the sizing running small, I purchased the size 12-14. With the adjustable straps set to the smallest setting, it fits her perfectly and she will definately have some room to grow. It is made of nice soft spandex type material but it doesn't seem clingy like a spandex (just soft and pliable). I have just purchased it and haven't yet washed it so I can't comment on durability or whether it will shrink when washed (but I doubt it will shrink much at all because of the material it's made out of). Great leotard and I'm sure I'll be purchasing more in the future. Just beware of how small the sizing runs. Although I think my daughter will get a few years of wear out of this, I don't think she'll still fit in when she's a true size 12-14 in clothing.

My daughter is almost 7, and is in a ballet, tap and jazz class. She wears this leotard each week and says it's comfortable, stretchy, and perfect for what she's doing!

It’s a well made leotard, but runs extremely small and the fit is odd. My daughter has a slightly longer torso and wears size 12 clothing. The Large 14/16 size was too tight on her. Also the shoulder straps seemed too wide set and kept falling down. Just overall not a great fit

I purchased this for my daughter to wear under her costume for a Nutcracker performance. It has good thickness and stretch and fits comfortably. Also, I really like the adjustable straps, this will allow her to wear it as she gets taller in the future.

It doesn’t have a protective liner.
