Perfect product. Recommended.
Exactly what they look like. I wouldn't change a thing about them. Very solid, quality built product at a pretty good price, (compared to the more expensive 'FatGripz'). They arrived on time, and shortly after, I received a personalized message from the owner of the 'Beast Gear' business himself, asking if everything was alright with them and if I had any questions; very direct customer support. As an intermediate powerlifter and gym-rat, I can highly recommend these... especially when it comes to grip/forearm training. I have only trained with them a couple of times so far, but they are very grippy (rubberized surface), unlike some of the cheaper variants on Amazon that apparently aren't very grippy, and don't fit around bars well. This is not the case for 'Beast Grips'. They definitely increase forearm activation when doing wrist curls, and other forearm exercises. I also tried them on deadlifts... (emphasis on "tried"), I can usually (double overhand) grip anything up to about 150kg/330lbs, however with the 'Beast Grips' applied, I couldn't even (double overhand) grip 100kg/220lbs! Guess I'll have to start working my grip more now... fortunately, now I have the perfect product for that! I plan on using these occasionally on pressing movements too (especially bench, and OHP). Apparently thicker grips on pressing movements reduce joint stress, not sure if that's true, but they definitely make presses feel different... which could be beneficial for reducing the law of accommodation. We'll see... Anyway... definitely recommended for those who know what to do with them. I wouldn't recommend them for beginners because they're simply unnecessary. However, if you have been lifting for at least a few months, and you want to step up your grip game, or you simply want to introduce new stimulus on familiar lifts, give em' a try! They're only like £18 and they'll last for years, plus I think they'd be beneficial for bicep training too.

Well priced, very well made, get this one - from a v. picky person!
Chose these over other alternatives due to the great price and having bought (and constantly use) Beast Gear's skipping rope as well (really recommend those too). The build quality is great. I know on a lot of these reviews you wonder how much the reviewer knows about the alternatives, but really - I can't imagine it being any better. There just isn't any point. Not a superlative, it is a simple product just very made well. Had it wrapped around barbells, dumbells, EZ-bars, even kettlebell handles and it works like a charm. Nice grip surface, and made of strong rubber/plastic material that hangs on, while being very durable and offers a tiny bit of give so you can really grab hold of it. Useful when you're looking to really blast your arms, especially when you're in the middle ground where you know you can push more but the weight is a bit much, I use these on a slightly lower weight and make the most of the high rep sets (let's be honest, getting the pump through high reps on arms can be tedious and dull to get the work to kick in). Used these on smith machines too. A nice mixer to keep things interesting. It's a bright red, so bear that in mind if you want something low key. But to be honest, it's just a small gadget and the red motivates you to really go for it in the gym.

For bigger hands. Guys over 5ft 8!
I love the idea. Using smaller ones now from another brand. These are good but my hands aren't quite big enough to get enough of a hold on them. Just a bit precarious for say, average or smaller guys when lifting. Not the fault of the manufacturer/supplier. Excellently made and packaged product. Stupidly, I threw the boxes away so can't return.

I have used the alternative product "Fat Gripz" in the past and thought they where good however due to the hard and stiff material they ...
Having used these "Beast Grips" now for around 2-3 week I can tell the change in the muscle groups being worked - my grip strength is up, my forearms are getting bigger (didn't think this could happen) and I have no niggle on my left shoulder when benching using the grips either which has helped me increase the weight I am lifting again without fear of causing injury! I have used the alternative product "Fat Gripz" in the past and thought they where good however due to the hard and stiff material they are made with found the pressure on my palms hurt if I went heavy on the weights and it was difficult to apply onto bars and attachments being very fiddly to do. BEAST GRIPS on the other hand are softer which helps to ease the grips onto Bars and attachments however you still have the confindencr they are made from a strong durable compound which will last and not cause you discomfort when using them! I'd score Best Gears BEAST GRIPS 11/10. Cracking product and highly recommend over the over priced alternative

Loose fit
OK. Bit loose on a 1" York bar. Still works OK. Just can spin a little

Awesome grips, awesome company
I bought these beast grips as an addition to my home gym and I can honestly say that over the last couple of weeks they've become one of my favourites tools for training. As someone who has thin forearms compared to upper arms I've been focusing more on forearm and grip strength during my routines and this has massively helped me in doing that. They can be a little tricky to get accustomed to at first, particularly for heavier lifts and certain movements (you may need to lower the weight for certain exercises). I particularly recommend using them during forearm specific exercises such as reverse curls, dead arm hangs, and farmer's carry/walk not to mention bicep curl exercises. I use them with my pull up bar, dumbbells, straight bar, curl bar and tricep bar and they even fit perfectly on the handles of my trx AND my resistance bands. They are clearly made from quality material and probably something I'd imagine will last for life even with constant use. The delivery was very fast and efficient and I even received a couple of emails from beast gear just to make sure I was happy with them and whether I had any queries. That's quality service for a quality product.

Grip like a Beast
These grips are great. I do a lot of body weight exercises, loads of pull-ups, chins etc... I have a lot of strength in my lats but my grip & wrists need work. I put these on the bar and I could instantly feel the difference, it made the grip more like something you feel when climbing... Was much harder work and was targeting my hands, wrists and forearms, exactly what I was after. After the session my hands were really tired and two days on I can still feel it in my forearms... Again, just like after climbing. Brilliant. The grips are very well made, are moved on the bar when you want to change grips but they done slip/rotate, don't compress etc, so I think are way better than foam grips. Also, they're not smooth, they have ridges, again which helps you get a better grip. Really happy with these. Oh and I've uploaded a photo of these grips on a medium sized bar, to show an even wider grip... It's no issue that the grip doesn't close as you hide the open part in your palm... Don't think you could do this with a foam grip or one that compressed.
