Clarkson eco farmer!!
Although he takes the piss about green policies he is almost unwittingly becoming a eco warrior himself. The book is interesting but nowhere near as good as the series

This is one of the funniest books i have read, Jeremy definitely has a way with words, can't wait till next series and book, he can't write them fast enough for me.

Interesting reading
Arrived on time. I do like his books but not so funny as the other three books on the farm, but very interesting reading.

Behind Clarkson's wit, a question of what we want as a nation....
From the man who proved farming was not just for Countryfile comes the latest book from Diddly Squat.Amid the Clarkson humour and strong opinions - for that is all they are - is his continued question of what does the future look like for farming in this country?Home to Roost will make you laugh but also make you think. What is the future of farming in this country?Farmers have no greater champion than Clarkson, I hope the Amazon show and books such as this focus our minds on the hard work of our terrific farmers

Amusing look at the struggles in taking up farming.
Heartfelt outpourings of someone tangling with farming for the first time. Amusing read that most of us will identify with that Jeremy encountered. Lucky that he was well off enough to survive it though.

Prime Minister -read this book!
For a refreshing draught of common-sense, drink this book and devour the dregs as well. It contains all the typical ingredients, which I have come to expect from Jeremy: honesty, humour and a honed writing style. The only downside is that I’m left saddened at the end of each of his books by the ineptitude of the government and their destructive farming policies.

A great read but too short
The Diddly Squat books are an excellent companion to the TV show but given they’re made up from previously published newspaper articles, it’d be nice if they were about 50% longer.C’mon Jeremy - if writing is your “safe space,”as you said in the final chapter of this book, please put fingers to keyboard and share more stories of life on the farm or at least include more of the articles from the paper as they’re already written.
