Dimmer Switch, LED Dimmer Switch Trailing Edge Rotary 1 Gang 1 Way or 2 Way 150W

First time had a dimmer switch that doesn't flicker .

Ever since swapping over to dimmable LED bulbs and dimmers I've had switches fail at regular intervals - I don't know whether that's a quality issue or whether the industry hasn't got its act together yet. Either way, I always like to have a spare in the electrical box.If this is your first time with LED dimming: firstly, not all LED bulbs are dimmable; secondly, you can't dim LEDs using an old fashioned dimmer designed for incandescent; and thirdly, even if the dimmer says it's for LEDs, there are two dimming methods in use, trailing edge and leading edge - and you need to make sure you have the right ones for your bulbs. It should say on your bulb packets or the sales page what they are and require.Some dimmers are reprogrammable to operate either as trailing or leading edge; this one isn't, it's trailing edge only - be aware. Some big bulb sellers on Amazon, such as Genixgreen, need leading edge to work properly.You may notice apparently contradictory load information on the sales page - the headline says 150W, other info says 100W LED. That's correct, inasmuch as this switch can also dim incandescent and halogen bulbs up to 150W total, or LED to 100W, which I very much doubt you'll need. Be aware, though, that if you have a triple branch chandelier with 3 x 60W candle bulbs, this won't be able to cope.With all that said, this is reasonably priced and it works. So I'm happy.

I got this to replace a dodgy dimmer switch. It was old and made led bulbs flash.This is a 1 way 1 gang dimmer switch.It's plastic and basic but does the job. It fits a standard sized light switch box and wires in easily. It's a rotate to dim and press in to switch off/on.Good quality and value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. This switch is designed specifically for LED loads and therefore has a lower power rating than other dimmer switches you might find. This switch was used to replace an older one as part of a two-way circuit. This switch was labelled identically to the old one and fitting it couldn't have been easier. It fitted into a shallow wall enclosure although it was a little tight as a result. The results looks good and it works perfectly. There is a small adjustment to control the minimum brightness which worked more-or-less. However, even going down to a very low setting this switch still worked well without any flicker that I could perceive.

Stepless dimming and no buzz makes this switch a great option for any room, we utilised this in our bedroom so we can now sit in bed reading, watching tv or working on the laptop without the overhead glare from the bedroom light, it's just a soft warm glow now and we love it.5 stars for quality and price.

Old one from many moons ago decided to malfunction and needed a straight swap dimmer.This one is pretty much that, just the casing isn't as deep, which caused me issues with bolts supplied with dimmer switch.Used old bolts as new ones are too long for old wall installed box.Easy to wire, dimmer switch clicks in well, good quality.

Great for our LEDs, dims to a really low level without flickering.Easy to wire up. Our electrician said it felt like better quality than the price.
