Outstanding "old school" hairbrush -- worth every penny
After years of using modern vented hairbrushes with plastic spikes and little balls on the end (the little balls that trap cruddy old hair and exfoliated scalp cells) -- it was time for a switch. It seems there aren't a lot of old school nylon bristle brushes out there, but then I found this one. I balked at the price, it just seemed crazy expensive -- but I read about the history of this product and decided to try it. I AM SO GLAD I DID. This brush is VERY high quality in a way I did not expect. The glossy white handle is heavy and substantial -- really pretty and classy. And the bristles are perfection. Shaking my head at some of the reviews that are saying the bristles are too soft? Are you kidding? They might be too soft to shred a brillo pad, I guess! The bristles are perfection. I have very thick hair and the brush bristles easily reach to my scalp so that I am able to give it a good sweep and comfortably distribute the oils down my hair shaft. I have an oily patch at the top front of my head that constantly gets stringy unless I shampoo every other day. This brush has solved that problem! I give a firm swooshing to that patch every morning and after a minute or so of brushing, my hair looks clean again like it was washed the night before. For that reason alone, this brush is worth every penny of the price. Adding to that, it's going to be very easy to keep clean because of the way it's built. Just run a comb through it every few days, and once every couple of weeks clean it up with some shampoo. No more picking at hairballs with tweezers and scissors to get around those stupid brushes with the plastic spikes and ball tips on the ends. I LOVE this Stanley hairbrush and will highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Quality product; good value.
I am 80 years old and have used Stanley hair brushes since I was a young girl. I just recently purchased my third life-time brush, so I think they last about 25-30 years. I love the Stanley brush because they have long, stiff bristles that are great for long hair (which mine was until about 15 years ago). They will reach all the way to your scalp, so you get a really good brushing. I recommend them highly. My mother used to purchase other Stanley products for use around the house, too. When I was younger, they were sold door to door like Avon products, which my mother also used. I was suprised to find they were offered on Amazon. I believe my last brush was purchased from a private representative of the company which I located from the phone book.

Good quality. Nice soft but durable bristles.
Seems like very good quality. This is made by Stanley. I’ve been using Stanley hair brushes almost all my life. Other than the fuller brush co. Which we had when we were kids. I really can’t complain about anything with these brushes.I will let you know if there is anything that I don’t like about this brush. Lady Catherine has put her name on this brush which again is made by Stanley. Hope you give it a try.

Worth buying.
Worth buying two of these just in case one gets lost. This is one really great brush for straight hair.

Last for years
Quality that last almost forever. I had mi first one for more of 30 years and I bought a new one after all those years and I appreciate that the quality is the same.

High quality
Like the one I had in the 70s. Gives my scalp a massage. Makes my hair shiny.

My mom had a brush just like this
My mom had a brush just like this one and, I believe, she still has it! It has to be 40 or 50 years old. It really is a great brush. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it and I find that a lot of hair brushes just don't make it through the hair - they kind of glide across the outside of your hair. The bristles actually make it through my hair! And it's easily cleanable! Recommend!

Fantastic brush!
I have literally detested most of the hairbrushes I’ve owned over my 50 years - and then I remembered the brush my Grammy owned for literally decades. Took a ton of research but I finally found out it was a Stanley. The price was at least double what I’ve spent on even the most expensive brush I had up until now but it is worth EVERY PENNY. No more vent brushes with those little plastic balls at the end, no more paddle brushes, and no more boar bristle brushes that barely went through my hair, let alone reached the scalp. Super well made. Super high quality. And very heavy in the handle, which I really like. I can’t recommend it enough. I might even buy a second just to have it on hand in case I ever lose this one.

Je recommande fois mille!! Trop trop contente!!
