Good value for the money!
It lasted about 2-2.5 years! It sealed quite a bit of food for me. Very easy to operate! Always turn the smooth side of bag up when sealing, not the textured side. Idk why, but bags seem to seal better that way! It had really good suction, though I never used the jar attachment. For wet things, set the sealer up on something a bit taller than your bags (I used a 2 foot section of a 2x4) so that gravity helps. Doesn't do well with wet things though. Use gentle seal, & put a paper towel around whatever is wet so it doesn't suck up fluids (or it won't seal & you have to clean your sealer!). In the end, the Teflon strip covering the hot sealing bar pulled away from it, and the heating element didn't heat evenly, so it wouldn't melt the plastic bag all the way across, to seal it. I wish they sold a replacement for that, coz I'd fix it! Give it a chance to cool down for a minute between bags; it's not a commercial unit meant for mass production! It will get very hot, and you risk burning it up/not functioning if you use it too hard. Slow & steady wins the race, here! There were one or two types of bags that it didn't like/wouldn't seal well, but I used a lot of different ones (on DEALS), so all in all it wasn't terribly picky! And it's a pretty tough little unit...it's design makes it a little clunky (two-piece, top/bottom), so it would get banged around a bit on itself & around it. If they used spring loaded hinges to hold it together it would help, but would also cost more...so it is what it is! But getting banged around never affected its ability to function. Because of the lack of hinges, you will have to use some dexterity to hold your bag & bring the top down to lock onto the edge at the same time. Practice a bit & you'll get the hang of it! I don't have long fingers, & I managed pretty well. A bit sad that it quit, but everything does, eventually. If I see a replacement melting element for it, I'll fix it! :)

Super easy, but used to be better
Updated review for newer model: One of the Locking clips broke on my original sealer so I had to buy a new one, which is the newer model. I'll leave the rating at four stars because I think three stars would be too low, but the new version is an inferior product compared to the previous model. First, the little red Clips to hold the bag in place are absolutely useless because they do nothing to actually grip the bag, they only get in the way as you're trying to position the bag. Even after removing the red clips, there is still an underlying clip that can't be removed without physically altering the body of the unit. This makes an extremely annoying when you're trying to double seal a bag that requires using two separate depths. Second, this newer unit is much flimsier and if you clip the top down on one side only, the entire unit warps and doesn't sit level on the surface of the counter anymore. And clipping one side, pulling the sealer bag taught, and then clipping the other side down, is the only method I've found to ensure a wrinkle-free seal when it is a bulky item like a thick steak or chicken wings or something. Note that such a process requires both hands in case you're having trouble picturing it. Third, this newer model has a much lower profile, at least a half inch or so compared to the previous version, which for me at least, makes it difficult to keep the bag steady for a thicker or bulkier item. Because sometimes, when you do have a bulky item, it is a matter of lining up the bag and getting the lid closed without the bag moving in the interim, which just ends up screwing up the whole process if you get it wrong. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but that's just how it is when you're using this type of sealer. Fourth, the buttons are far too touch sensitive and it's extremely easy to start the sealing process accidentally by merely opening the lid. And lastly, the rubber feet on the bottom are just a hair short of being useful, they will only grip the counter surface if you're applying pressure to the unit, because this unit is so light it almost wants to float away. Other than that, it still works and the price is right so I will keep it because I had success with the previous model, but this is a disappointing upgrade. -‐‐‐‐ I have wanted to get a vacuum sealer for years, This is my first one so I don't have much to compare it to. So far I'm very pleased with this one, easy to use and seems to work like a charm.

Great performance & Great value
Very satisfied with performance and value. Surprisingly powerful vac for such a compact unit and it seals perfectly every time, as long as you leave at least 3 inches of the bag unused, put the end of bag under the red tabs and make sure there’s no wrinkles! 😃

It has great updates
First of all I read several reviews and videos, but it turns out the vacuum sealer I bought in 2025 has a lot of updates. Some of the reviews are old. I bought my first one a few years ago. I liked the old ones because they were simple to use. The one I had just gave out and so I was looking for a replacement. When this one arrived, assumed that it was basically the same as the old one. I was thrilled that the new updated one just hums, the old one was rather loud. Me being me didn't read the manual, and it wasn't until just recently I figured out how to use the red clips properly. I am also pleased that the price hasn't gone up. I got some bags that use one of the attachments, haven't used it yet. I urge buyers to read the manual, don't be like me and assume it is not important.

Worked amazing
I have never used a vac sealer, but I have always wanted one. I finally purchased this based off of a review from a bbq channel on YouTube that I follow. This worked amazingly well, far surpassing my expectations. It was very easy to use, and I'm confident in being able to store meats that I have cooked for much longer than normal. I would buy this again if anything happened to it.

It’s ok
I haven’t had this machine long but it’s done the job alright. It had NO instructions included and I spent so much time trying to figure it out. You have to fully shut the machine until in locks on the sides before it will work at all. It’s not a press down machine. Silly to not understand it but I’ve never owned a vacuum sealer so I don’t know what to expect. I noticed the last time I used it that the left side wants to come out of the housing area and I’m not sure why. This is kept in a drawer so it’s not been dropped. I’ll keep an eye on it for now. Overall, it’s alright. It does seal and it doesn’t take too long to start sucking out the air but that means you have no time to change the settings either. It likes to switch to canister or dry or some other random setting and I’ve had too many times it will start the process or seal before I can change it ruining a bag. If you can afford the more expensive brand, do it. I needed a budget friendly one and this one serves that purpose but it’s not the best.

GERYON Vacuum Sealer Machine
Used vacuum sealer today for chicken breast with the enclosed roll of bags and fresh blueberries using the zipper bag and accessory hose for the freezer. System worked and sealed well. Very happy with purchase thus far!
