Sprout-tastic!
I love these brussels spouts. To me they taste like brussels sprouts should taste not tasteless and hard as bullets like some from some supermarkets I could name! These always have a very strong sprout flavour which I love! Yes they are very soft but that happens to most vegetables when they are canned. I also quite like that they are very soft and I often have to eat a few out of the can before I tip them into the pan to warm them through! The cans are big but I can easily eat a whole can in one sitting. They have a ring pull top which makes them very easy to get into. I love spouts so I'm very happy with these. If you like the tasteless bullets from the supermarket these might not be your cup of tea. But I'd recommend them to anyone who loves the humble sprout as I do to give them a go!

A handy cupboard staple
I am one of those very odd people who likes sprouts. I can't always stand for long periods to cook as my back starts to ache, and so anything that is quick and easy is very welcome. A change to tinned peas for a green veg on my bad days is very welcome. They are tasty, but don't have crunch. They are whole, but soft, a bit like Gran used to make.

Sprouts - in a tin!
Things you need to understand - these are mass produced and have been sat in liquid for goodness knows how long, so will be soggy and not crunchy. Plus, if you don't want to be overpowered by the smell of sprouts, open the tin part way quickly, drain and leave outside on the windowsill for a few minutes to release any build up of "sprout gas". Other than that, these are FAB. I always have tinned vegetables in my store cupboard for emergencies, like extra guests or frozen/fresh food being out of stock; and actually received my first tin of these from a friend as a joke. Well, Hah Hah, we like them! So much so, I've now bought a carton of 12. I wouldn't eat them every week, but their there if we want some.

who'd have thought it?
well I have to admit I love my fresh veg but seeing these reminded me of school dinners & comfort food...... I love sprouts so these were perfect as I live alone, don't have a large freezer & online shops are a bit hit & miss at moment. They may not suit everyone's palette as they're strong-tasting & a little softer than freshly cooked sprouts but I love them. I didn't realise you could still buy tins so no doubt will be repurchasing soon

Mushy sprouts
These sprouts were absolutely horrible, as soon as the tin was open they were all mushy, yellowy colour and smelt funny, we have had D'aucy tinned vegetables before with other things and these have been fine, especially the peas. These are inedible, if anyone reads this take note, don't waste your money like I have done and do not buy.

Squidgy but good flavour
I bought these on the High Street during lockdown for my shielding dad to have some variety in his tin veg store. Those ones had a slightly soft texture but all the ones I've bought for him since then seem to have got much mushier. It's going to be the Marmite of tin veg. If you don't mind them squidgy then the taste is strong as is the first whiff when the can is open. Dad thinks they are great but personally I prefer my sprouts with more bite. Covered with a mustard cheese sauce though they aren't bad.
