is this the hindge that goes between the trifecta's ..the one that connects them together so they fold up and down easily?

This is the back hinge, unlike previous statements the number 1033 is nowhere on the original hinge. The only numbers on my old hinge and the new one is 35440400 and35440100. There is no left or right, but I believe there is a difference between the front and back hinge.

How many does this include?

The 1033 hinge assembly is sold as one each. The cover requires two of these rear hinges. Hinges towards cab of vehicle are different.

will these hinges fit on a Gator tri-fold tonneau cover ?

My husband used these on his folding tonneau cover. I don't know if they will fit your exact cover.
