Comfortable and supportive…
As a newbie to weight lifting, I have been struggling with grip strength, so when this set of Versa Gripps became available to review, I had to test them out. I’ve using them for a while now and have to say, I’m impressed. They’ve made a huge difference, I can now focus on my form without my hands giving out. They fit so well, giving me the right amount of support without being too tight and they’ve helped so much with pulling exercises (deadlifts, rows, lat pulldowns). Now my muscles fail, before my grip does… The material is such high quality and the padding is soft, they feel like they have been built to last. In my opinion, they are a must have for anyone looking to improve grip and wrist support. They have definitely made my lifting more effective!

High quality wrist straps for better grip at the gym
As a regular user of the gym I was given the opportunity to try out these Versa fit pro wrist straps. I hadn’t realised that they were for women however they still work fine for men These wrist straps are useful to help you grip better and possibly to lift heavier. The strap goes around your wrist and you wrap the leather tongue around the weight you are going to pull. The friction on the tongue means you have a great grip and are able to lift slightly heavier. These are great if you have naturally small hands like I do. I got the extra small size straps as I have small wrists which are in hindsight a little small but just about make a snug fit. The straps are comfortable to wear and they provide good support for my wrists helping me to lift heavier weights and perform more reps. These wraps feel like these will be the only wraps you will buy. They are very solid and well made - certainly they feel like they will last Overall I think these are great. The quality really stands out but I can’t look beyond the nearly £76 price. Despite being a great accessory for the gym - you really can buy other straps from different makes for significantly cheaper. These are however a well known quality brand which is adding to the price. Overall I am happy to recommend these.

Good gripps!
I got these Versa Gripps® Fit Pro in size Extra Small, in black to help with my weights at the gym. They provide good support to my wrists and good grip even when my hands are really sweaty. I don't have to worry about accidentally losing my grip on a heavy dumbbell and dropping it because these grips support the bar. Also, I no longer hurt my wrist when picking heavy items up. They boast lovely padding around the wrists to give comfortable support. They are adjustable via the velcro straps for a perfect fit and easy removal.

Good quality leather
Very thick strong leather, doesn't look like it'll damage or fray easily. Effectively allow you to target specific muscles without having your grip be a limiting factor. These work well for my wife but are a bit tight on me. My wife continues to use them as she delves more into free weight training. Recommended.

Perfect Grip and Support for Serious Workouts
The first thing I noticed was how well-made they are. The quality of the materials is excellent, and you can tell they’re built to last. The neoprene padding is comfortable around the wrist, and the grip surface has just the right texture to feel secure without being too sticky or abrasive. The adjustable Velcro strap is sturdy, so you can easily get a snug fit that doesn’t slip, even during intense sessions. Using them they take the pressure off my grip and let me focus more on the muscles I’m targeting, which has been especially helpful for pulling exercises. The grip wraps around the bar easily, and once you tighten your hold, it stays in place without needing constant adjustment. It’s made a noticeable difference in my ability to push harder and lift heavier. I have small wrists, so the XS size fits perfectly and feels secure without cutting into my skin. It’s also great that these grips are designed with female athletes in mind, as many wrist straps are either too bulky or uncomfortable for smaller wrists. The only thing to keep in mind is that there’s a bit of a learning curve when first using them. It took me a few tries to get used to wrapping the grip properly and finding the right level of tightness. However, once I got the hang of it, they became an essential part of my workout gear. Overall, these grips have made a huge difference in my training. They’re durable, comfortable, and incredibly effective at improving grip and reducing strain on my wrists. If you’re serious about lifting and want to take your performance to the next level, these are absolutely worth the investment.

Good product, wrist strap could be a bit more comfortable.
The actual grip part of these grips is spectacular - the material does the job brilliantly and feels far superior to other gym grips I've tried. I was a bit disappointed by the wrist strap, it doesn't conform to my wrist shape and digs in a bit. I have a much cheaper strap that is more comfortable to wear. The sizing guide only says 5-6" but it doesn't give any indication of where you should measure. For an item this price, I'd expect more information so you can ensure you're buying a good fit. There is however more information on the item packaging. Fortunately, my guess was correct and I got the right size for me. My wrist straps came in a lilac colour, which I wasn't expecting from the photos, but doesn't bother me.

Definatly get a size that is bigger than your wrist if you can, these ones are fantastic or those with absolutely tiny wrists! Ive got super tiny hands and but I was still within the upper limit of the measurements for the XS, but its a very tight fit!! I got these to aid in stability for my wrists when lifting as i have carpal tunnel from a childhood injury. The stitching is tight, theres no snags or dangley bits, this is overall a great help in the gym.

These are XS, just an FYI!! Do not size down if you are small, these are true to fit, and it's better to go a size up so you get a longer strap, instead of it being too tight. I owned a pair of some no name wrist straps, and I thought those were fine until I got these Versa Gripps. The no name brand has a bit of slippage even though I secure the velcro around my wrist tightly, and the grip material is made of cloth instead of this 'sticky' rubber-like material on these wrist straps - which are superior to the cloth material. These Versa Gripps, unlike the no name brand I have, are also way more secure on my wrist, and also when holding the barbell. Maybe it's because of the angle of how the wrist area is, but it grips around my wrist very nicely, and there's honestly no risk of these straps slipping. As stated before, the grip itself feels "sticky" - it doesn't stick to your hands, but if you fold it on itself you can feel it sticking together. Anyway, the material makes it so that it grips my barbell super securely so that it won't ever slip, unless if I physically let go. I managed to break a PR on my deadlift thanks to my forearms no longer being a limiting factor, and because these grips are better than the no name ones I have. I am disappointed that I didn't shell out the money for one earlier, but these are absolutely worth the $100+ if you are a serious lifter. Don't be like me and let your grip strength be your limiting factor.

For lifting straps, I feel like I haven't come across a product that I really considered as close to perfect until this one. The comfort is there, the grip is there, and the durability is as well. In terms of comfort, getting the proper sizing is really important---and this is something I think the listings really do poorly, because even though the product description does technically denote that this size is made for people with wrist circumference of around 7"-8", I think an image with the sizing description would really help especially in giving additional details. This is something the packaging does a bit better, where it writes down the adequate sizes if using a tape measurer (XS up to 6", SM 6-7", R/L 7-8"), it also has a bar chart you can line up your wrist over and see where it falls between--with the additional detail of "if you are on the line, size up". I think this applies well to the circumference too--if you measure 7" wrist circumference you are better off sizing up. For those that only have a ruler on hand, here are the measurements: XS up to 5cm, SM from 5-5.9cm, R/L from 5.9cm to 7.1cm. Having had the opportunity to try all the sizes, I can affirmatively say that sizing up makes wonders in the comfort. I happen to be exactly between two sizes and while the smaller size does fit, the padding feels a little firm and overall uncomfortable when applying heavier weights. On a larger and looser fit, the padding can slide a little higher on my wrist, resting on the base of my hand and the padding actually feels as if it were a much softer material... well padded and comfortable! The grip material is really amazing as well. It is a double layer of a vinyl feeling type of material and gives some good comfort against knurled and smooth bars alike, grips without slippage at all, and thus far hasn't worn out which is impressive. I am definitely able to pull heavier weights than my hands normally would comfortably grip. The design does have a little thicker piece at the very end of the strap to help with ergonomic grips too, be it in push or pull mode. Per Versa Gripps, these aren't even their most beefy model but I think for most people other than the most intense power lifters, this is more than adequate enough. Now there are just two little points I find could be a bit of an issue when considering whether or not to buy these: First, the marketing. Yes, these are marketed to women almost exclusively, and the fact that most colors other than the black ones are more feminine colors shows this. The packaging and listing pictures also all show that they are for female athletes. Why! Unfortunately I do not have the Versa Gripp Pro (as opposed to these Fit Pro) to know if there are other shape/ergonomic differences between the two that are visually near identical, but those come in smaller sizes too and are a few bucks cheaper... making these feel like a bit of a pink tax. Regardless, even if you're a man and your wrist size fits these sizes, this is still going to work for you. And the second point is the price. The brand itself is on the pricier side and the Pro series in particular. But considering it is made in the USA and with great fit/finish, really durable materials and comfortable performance to boot, it's an expensive investment for a wrist strap but justifiable in my opinion. I think another important takeaway is that despite the high price, as far as I can observe these Canadian prices are actually just the US MSRP converted to CAD, so we're not getting a disadvantageous pricing on this side of the border. Overall, what do I think of these? Expensive, but from every aspect in using it all I can say is "but wow, I get it".

As a female athlete who lifts regularly, these Versa Gripps Fit Pro in size XS have made a huge difference in my workouts. 🙌 The grip is incredibly strong, and the design allows me to push myself harder without worrying about my hands slipping or my wrists fatiguing early. The non-slip material is next level and really lives up to its claims. What I love most is how comfortable they are. The padding is soft yet supportive, and the adjustable strap fits my small wrists perfectly. 🖤 I’ve noticed less strain on my forearms during deadlifts and pull-ups, and my overall grip endurance has improved. Yes, they’re pricey—but 100% worth the investment if you’re serious about training. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to level up their lifts, especially women with smaller hands who need solid wrist support. 🏋️♀️✨

Versa grip nails it once again. I have been using Versa grips for a very long time now, and have always found they are the perfect solution to lifting heavy when your grip strength is the limiting factor. I have used the PRO line for years, and loved my grips for how much value they bring to my workouts in allowing me to reach muscle hypertrophy. Since larger muscle groups like your back require a lot of weight, but your forearms and grip may give out at those higher weights, these always help. The FIT PRO line is specific for women, and seems to be identical to the PRO's, with different colours. These function the exact same as my PRO's, and fit the same. I found that giving these grips to female lifters immediately allows them to row and pull much more weight, and allows them to reach muscle hypertrophy better. The sizing guide provided on Versa Grip's website is accurate and should be followed to get the perfect fitting grip. When it comes to lifting straps, I will always recommend VERSA GRIPS, and only them because of their quality, durability, comfort, and ease of use. 5/5 stars
