Good for shade on my pagola

Works great! We rolled it up on a pipe & hung it from one side of our gazebo so we can drop it down when we need the shade.

I used this patio sun shade cloth on my balcony. I have the bars that you can see through, and for some reason it bothers me knowing people can see everything on my balcony. I zip tied this cloth to the railing on one side, then ran it along the railing and zip tied the other end to the railing. It fit great and not only does it block the looky loos from seeing my balcony, it blocks out the sun great. The cloth is a great size and its nice and thick. It also comes with plenty of zip ties and rope for you to hang it where you like. In my opinion it is overpriced but it's currently 30% off and that puts the price where I think it needs to be. Good value buy!

I ordered this to hang on the west side of our pergola to block the sun for dinners outdoors. I tried to hang it using the zip ties, but the zip-ties are short, and there is fascia board on the beam that I would have preferred. There was only one short length of string for tying. I talked to my husband about placing nails for hanging it from the grommets, but he said that it is essentially a breathable tarp, and he thinks it looks cheap. He wants something nicer (roll-up shade or awning) for our space. I might find some other use for this.
