A good supplement. Made with the Akk11 strain of Akkermansia muciniphila (good for metabolic disorders and weight loss) and combined with inulin, a prebiotic. Also contains Fructooligosaccharide, a soluble dietary fiber. It's in a Vegetable capsule. It does unfortunately contain Magnesium stearate, something I try to avoid and for that I am deducting one star.

I’ve tried several brands of this product and this is not my favorite. Less effective than other brands.

A different form of probiotic
The vast majority of the probiotics that I have usedpreviously typically have largely contained Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species. This one is different, containing Akkermansia muciniphilia along with the prebiotic inulin. The claim is made that Akkermansia has a role in regulating GLP-1 secretion and may therefore possibly help with weight management. This is a recently identified species that normally makes up a small percentage of our intestinal bacterial flora. These are easily swallowed capsules. My stomach tolerates this product without issues (no bloating, gas, or change in bowel habits). The seller tells us that this is bottled in the USA.
