I'm not a serious athlete whose running shorts need to basically be two pieces of tissue paper tied together with a shoelace. I'm just a casual weekend runner who needed a new pair of shorts. I've been wearing a 7" inseam for the past few years, but did't like the feel of of the leg hem hitting mid-thigh, so I'm trying out a 3" inseam, and so far I'm loving these (after trialling and rejecting several other brands). The construction is first-rate, and the fit is perfect. (I'm 6'1", 185 lbs, with a 33" waist jean-size--I ordered the Medium, and it's just right!). You can see from the pocket outline in the first photos that there is *some* transparency through the single layer of fabric, but I'm wearing compression shorts underneath, and modesty remains completely intact. There is some give in the fabric, but I wouldn't call it "stretchy." Just enough flexibility so it doesn't grab or pull at full stride. Neither too loose nor too tight.Overall, very happy with these shorts, and will probably order another pair soon in a different color.

They do not hug your bottom like most short shorts do but they fit well and are not to short . No worries about exposing yourself in them and still tasteful enough to wear to the store etc . Great gym shorts if you have a child in school

I got these for around the house in the summer (it gets pretty hot). I don't like hems rubbing the skin on my upper leg, so went with a 3" inseam. I was pretty concerned about things poking out, but I figured these are used by lots of guys, so likely should be fine. They are! The way the polyester is cut, there's a good closure along the leg, with no problems. And yet, it's loose enough not to "cling." I can understand that others wouldn't like running in these, as there isn't any internal support -- sort of like very short pajamas, but with slightly heavier fabric -- still very light, though.I'm 5'8" and about 185lb, over 60 with an older man belly. Hips are 39", waist about 40". I went with the Medium, and it's very good! There's enough play in the elastic waistband that they don't fall down. I don't need the drawstring, and although some say it's very thick and interfering, I don't find that at all. It's long enough to be useful, but not so long that it swings all over or catches on kitchen cabinet knobs.There's no fly, so it's a "pull down the waist" operation, or even "lift up the leg" event. Fine! These are for comfort and mostly just being on my own, minding my own business. I don't use the pockets, but they're decent if you're maybe in a gym.I'll get some more, but I think I'll try the Large size next time. The Medium isn't tight at all, and quite comfortable, but I'll try the larger size just to see. The price is right, so why not? Don't worry about the short inseam -- you can use any posture you normally use, and still keep your modesty. :-) Great product!

Well made, holds fine. They are short and not short in the same time. Good to wear indoor and sometimes outdoor.Holds fine even after several washes.

I recently purchased two pairs of these comfortable shorts. The fabric is incredibly pleasant, and they are wonderfully short and cool, making them perfect for warm weather. The design is stylish and fits well. However, I do find them to be a bit on the pricey side.

I'm 6' 1" and 178-lbs.Size Medium fit perfect on me, not too snug, not too loose. I was afraid the 3-inch inseam might be too short, but that wasn't the case at all. I could not wait for the nearly 30-year-old late 90's/ early 2000's style of long knee shorts to finally die! But I'm not exactly wanting to look like a server at Hooters either. These shorts nailed that perfect fit and length for me. 2-layer mesh fabric, nice side pockets, and a drawstring. Nice quality, I'm going to order another pair in a different color.

I cant believe how great the quality of these shorts are for the price. Usually shorts like these are twice the price. There short but not embarrassingly short just right. I'm 6ft 205lbs and bought a Small.
