Looks good easy installation
This was used to hide a chip on a mirrored cabinet door. I actually cut it wrong and it’s super sticky so I am reordering it to cut and position it correctly. But that was user error! Great product and easy to cut. Just not easy to remove and reposition.

good
It looks good on my mirror, but you need the right tool to cut it, like an aviation snip.

Stunning gold art for our walls.
I have been waiting for something like this gold modeling trim for a long time. I have seen it in magazines and home decorating magazines. I have always thought that it would make a beautiful artistic expression on our bedroom wall. This peel and stick, metal finish, molding trim is going to be put up behind our bed on the wall. I want to place several strips of the gold trim so that it will show up just the way that I envision. I would love to bring it down from the ceiling to the floor so that the gold trim will shimmer with the crystal lamps that we have.I have waited to not only find trim like this, but this trim exactly. I want this trim because it is stainless steel and has a stunning mirror reflection. With several strips of this on the bedroom wall, I will have the most amazing mirror look. And I’m so glad that I found the glossy gold version. I feel like this is a dream that I found this trim.If I want to add more trim to pictures, to frame around things like mirrors or windows, I will definitely have enough to do so. I have several ideas on how to make some gorgeous art with this gold metal trim and a black background on a canvas. Because it is so easy to apply, I want to put it everywhere. I know that I need to be judicious with it, but it is so beautiful that it’s hard to not want to put it everywhere.

Thick material with strong adhesive
This roll of trim is more than just metallic tape, it's really more like rolled up sheet metal. It is so thick that you will need something like tin snips to cut it. I did find it hard to have a nice finished edge on my cuts, but that just may be my cutting abilities and the tool I was using. I didn't end up using this in my intended application since I wasn't able to get it to look good enough, but I can see it being useful if you can tidy up/hide the cut edges.

Strong adhesive, didn't like look on mirror
First of all, it says on the packaging to use gloves. They're not kidding. The edges of the trim are very sharp, especially the ends where you make your cuts.I got this to add a frame to my bathroom mirror. The brushed nickel finish is nice looking. At first I thought it had some scuffs in the finish, but then realized it has a protective film on it. I recommend you wait until you've finished installation before removing the film. When I went to install it on my mirror, I quickly learned that the adhesive is very strong. I barely set the material on the mirror and realized it was a tiny bit crooked. I tried to pull it back off to straighten it and it was already very stuck. So, unfortunately, when i did pull it off, it bent the trim. I bent it back, but it left a dent in the metal finish, so I had to toss that piece. Just be ready to stick it on and get it straight the first time.My bigger issue I had with this trim was the reflection in the mirror showing the back of the product. It's black, but it had areas that showed up as white spots in the reflection. I think maybe it's the adhesive showing inconsistencies or thin spots. Because of these spots I wasn't left with a clean looking border. It looked too messy for my standards. So I removed it (which is when I got a little cut from the trim, my mistake!). I can see using this trim in places where the reflection isn't an issue, but it didn't work well for my mirror.

My overall experience with this peel-and-stick stainless steel strip has been excellent.
I ordered this peel-and-stick stainless steel strip to refurbish an old frameless mirror that was “desilvering” along the outer edge. Also known as “mirror rot,” moisture seeps into the silver backing of a mirror, breaking down the bond between the glass and the backing, causing the silver layer to chip off, leaving black spots or edges on the mirror.I read other reviews where people reported having difficulty cutting the strip. I was fortunate to have access to a 12-inch miter saw with a diamond-impregnated metal cutting blade, which worked perfectly. I opted for bevel cuts instead of butt joints for a more refined result. The strip application can be tedious, but I had the advantage of following the edge of the glass as my reference. The final product looks fabulous. My overall experience with this peel-and-stick stainless steel strip has been excellent, and I am pleased to recommend it. My mirror looks new, and I saved a bunch of money by upcycling it. The potential applications for this product are limited only by your imagination.

Easy to use.
Repurposing a mirror for a project and needed something metal to frame the bottom half. Super easy to bend and cutting wasn't even an issue. Used my welders glove to run it along the seam and curve over the glass itself.
