Mr. Pen Windproof Travel Umbrella - Nude Beige, Automatic, Compact, Rain & Windproof

Bought this umbrella for LA’s most recent storms and it worked perfectly! I like how compactly it folds up, especially the automatic close feature. It fits inside my bag easily and opens quickly. Seems very sturdy and the price couldn’t have been beaten anywhere. Quite happy with this purchase…

Perfect size for international travel and really cute. But what is impressive is the size when it’s open. I was expecting small coverage. How wrong I was. It’s the same size as a regular umbrella so if need be two could shelter underneath. What a nice surprise! And it’s very sturdy and well made.Would definitely recommend. The hand written note that accompanies it was a nice touch.

I got this compact umbrella for travel and daily use. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and opens and closes automatically, which is very convenient. The water-repellent coating helps it dry quickly, and the handle has a good grip.At first, I had some issues with it in strong wind, but the customer service was very helpful and responsive. Because of their support, I’m satisfied with my purchase. A good umbrella with great service!

Great umbrella to keep in the car. Opens easily and keeps me dry walking to my destination then collapses into a small carry around item. Hasn't flipped inside out on me in the wind but I haven't tried a wind tunnel, either. Seems well worth the price to replace the ones that charities send in fund raising - those seem ready to flip inside out in a modest wind (and have).

This umbrella was inexpensive, but it is quite well made. It is strong and stable and opens easily. The color is beautiful and the size is perfect, large enough but not unwieldy. I’m so pleased. A great choice.

I'd say this umbrella has a decent build quality. After taking it out twice, I think a part inside the umbrella came loose and started rattling around the handle. I stopped the handle rattle by taking it apart and removing the loose piece, but it was difficult to reassemble because of the spring loaded compression mechanism. Additionally the shaft extending to umbrella canopy was a little wobbly from the start, so if you want something that feels sturdy, you should probably try another product. Also, in sunlight, there are areas of the canopy that are slightly more transparent making it seem either poorly dyed or thinner.That being said, it does pretty well with keeping water off of you, and handles well in moderately windy weather.overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars. If they got the dye and rattle taken care of, this would be a much better product.

Just go back from rainy spring weather in Croatia and this came in really handy! It for sure is windproof because Yugo (equivalent so the Santa Ana winds) was in full force as we traveled along the Dalmation coast. I think mine was the only umbrella that made it back home! I also chose the bight green so that it didn't get mixed up with everyone's black umbrella... plus it looked really great in the photos even if we looked like drowned rats!
