Great soldering iron, especially for the price! heats up super fast and works like it should.

This worked well with the application that I was needing it for getting into a smaller space. The only thing I might recommend is to have an insulated father down so that this way you don’t run the risk of burning your hands as easy, which I never did overall What came in the package with it was good would make a great starter pack for anyone wanting to learn I also like the temperature adjustment because we’re smaller wire you don’t need to run quite as much heat so it gives you the quick ability to change wire sizes. And it also does heat up very fast faster than anything that I’ve used to solder Within 15 to 30 seconds I would say is all it takes

Edit: I got a replacement, and the new one is fine. First one must have been a lemon. Original review preserved below...The soldering iron itself is great. Solders well, feels comfortable, etc. I love it in nearly every way, except one: the plug is bad. Every outlet I try it in, it slips out at the *slightest* provocation. That is a fire hazard for any electronic device, let alone one that is a glorified short.I don't if I got a lemon or what. The plug on mine does look bent (see pic), so maybe that's why it won't stay in? I'm just astounded that the plug is the problem with this thing. We've known how to make those things for a century.Again, I generally love the thing, but I'm not going to use a tool that risks starting a fire.

This one has worked great for me, nice to have a temperature display.
